The thing that really makes this place different is how homey it feels. More like a bed-and-breakfast than a condo on the beach. This two-bedroom, one-bath, 900-square-foot unit is warm, welcoming, and intimate.

Relax in the living room in front of your favorite TV shows or that DVD you’ve been wanting to watch. Stretch out on the big bed in the bedroom you prefer (they��re both exquisite.) Or cook! The kitchen is complete, and you won’t find fresher seafood or better cuts of meat anywhere than in the shops on the island.

BEACH OASIS

Beach Oasis, on beautiful and serene St. George Island, sits directly across the slow road from the beach. You can sit on the balcony and watch the waves break. Its semi-private pool and charcoal grill assure a pleasant time even away from the beach. Your pets will love it too. Please note, there is parking for a maximum of two vehicles.

YOUR INVESTMENT

Prices include everything except Florida state sales tax, a small house cleaning fee of $150 and a linen charge ($25/bedroom and $10/bathroom) - which includes all your linens, bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels and even little soaps at all of the sinks. There is also a small amount of clothes detergent, dish liquid and dish washer soap.

There is a $50 cancellation fee up to 30 days prior to arrival.

To protect your investment, we also offer trip insurance from an AAAAA rated insurance company. We highly recommend you give it your consideration because, if you would have to cancel your trip for any reason, you'd receive a full refund for your rental.

We always enjoy our stay at Beach Oasis! This was our fourth year at this beach home. We saw dolphins everyday and the weather was very cooperative during our stay. We always enjoy going into Applachecola to Up the Creek restaurant. The Tap Room is another favorite place to hang for a good brew, and there is a new brewery across the street that just opened up called Oyster Oasis.

I started RelaxontheBeach in 2004 because I knew that the vacation rental/property management business in Gulf Shores needed a complete overhaul. I purchased my first beach house in the early 2000's and immediately listed it with one of the larger property management firms in town. While I was thrilled that the house rented as well as it did, I was not happy with the draconian commission structure, poor cleaning standards, and slipshod maintenance.

I began to advertise and manage my property on my own and I doubled rental revenue in the first 24 months of owning the property.

Neighbors took note. I received phone calls. I received emails. How in the world, they wondered, was I able to generate so much traffic? Every weekend there was a car in my driveway. 'Simple' I said, 'treat every customer like family.'

The personal touch makes all the difference. Our potential guests are personally greeted by a knowledgeable representative. Our quality control director takes pride in the condition of all of our properties and ensures that our thorough cleanliness standards are met. We have a full maintenance department that does its best to address any maintenance concerns quickly.

I chose to buy a vacation rental house in Gulf Shores for a variety of reasons....the people are absolutely fantastic! Southern hospitality doesn't even begin to tell the entire story. From the waitresses with constant smiles on their faces, to the deep sea fishing boat captains with endless stories to tell, coastal Alabama can't be beat!

The beaches are the best in the world. Period. The finest white sand and the bluest turquoise waters await each and every guest. Need I say more?

World class golf is available in spades. Try your luck at Kiva Dunes, a perennial top 10 in the state of Alabama and ranked in Golf Digest's 'places to play' for an unforgettable links experience on the Gulf of Mexico. If you have a more traditional American layout in mind, the Peninsula Golf Club, with its 27 manicured holes and GPS loaded carts is terrific.

Anyone say 'fresh seafood?' You can't go wrong at any of our restaurants. Try 'Bahama Bobs' for the fresh catch of the day. The lunch specials are to die for. Ahh, just sit back and relax

Beach condo was just as pictured. My husband, me, our 2 children and our 2 four legged children had a wonderful time. I am dreaming of going back. The location right across the street from the beach was wonderful. I loved hearing the waves rolling in. Being in the kitchen on vacation is not my favorite thing to do, but looking into mirrored view of the ocean made it not so bad. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the condo nicely furnished and decorated. The kids loved the pool and it was a nice place to sit and read a good book. Our evenings were spent walking on the beach looking for crabs, we all had fun. I can not decide what was more beautiful the water in the moonlight or sunlight. The moonlight seem to light up the whole beach. As I said I am dreaming of going back, what a wonderful quite place to spend time with the ones you love. When you go make sure to bring your bikes, that was one thing we didn't know to bring, but are looking forward to it for the next time.
We went to the lighthouse, which also had a nice park for the kids, lots of good places to eat, and good ice cream. Overall we got what we wanted - a very nice relaxing family vacation. The only time I would not recommend this place to a friend is if was the week "I" am planning on going back.
