Get Away From It All

Every year, my family of four takes a weekend trip to Lake Wallenpaupack during the late winter months. After having trouble with a few other places in the past, we wanted to try some place new. We were delighted to stumble upon this rental. The place is gorgeous and very clean. No smokey or mildew odors which is reassuring when you have two children under the age of 18. The high ceilings and open floor plan make the place feel very roomy. The house stays warm and the fireplace adds great ambiance. There are more than enough sleeping arrangements - a queen sized bed on the first floor and pull out sleeper couch (I would like to add that the couch seems like it may be brand new) sleeps two. There is also a room with a double bed on the second floor with another room with two twin beds. Each room is a good size. The kitchen is modern with granite counter tops and a large island for cooking prep. The bathrooms are also updated and most importantly - clean! I couldn't have asked for more. It is literally home away from home! The lake is also just a few minutes away and the walk is so scenic and enjoyable. We are even talking about booking again during the summer months! I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family.
