Beautifully remodelled fully furnished one bedroom east facing condo with extended patio overlooking the par 3 12th green and the gorgeous Chocolate Mountains. Located in the gated community of Palm Desert Resort and Country Club this popular one bedroom has full access to the outstanding par 72 golf course, full practice facility, 16 tennis courts, and 22 swimming pools/spas. Clubhouse features an excellent restaurant, bar, and pro shop.

Our condo has been remodelled during the last 2 years and now features new appliances, granite countertops in kitchen/bathroom, maple cabinets, beautiful 16 inch decorator tile throughout, showroom tiled shower, walk-in closet in bedroom, textured walls, crown moulding, ceiling fans in living and bed rooms, plantation shutters, and Alumawood covered patio with 2 ceiling fans and barbeque.

Additional features include 2 car garage, king sized bed, and air bed available for additional sleeping in living room area, 2 flat screen HD TVs, fully equipped kitchen, cathedral ceiling, and tasteful furnishings. There are two bikes and two tennis rackets in the garage available for your use. Of the 22 community swimming pools/spas 4 are within a 3 minute walk. Free Wireless and long distance to Canada and the United States.

Palm Desert Resort is well situated and within easy driving distance of the Indian Wells tennis centre, El Paseo shopping and dining district, the Polo Grounds, numerous Las Vegas style casinos, College of the Desert market, outlet malls, hiking trails, and over 100 golf courses in the Coachella Valley. Grocery shopping is available within a 5 minute drive.

Great location and a wonderfully updated property. Central to all attractions and the owners have gone out of their way to supply all the necessities of home...you feel at home! Clean and comfortable with a great patio and the golf course is very nice as well. You will totally enjoy your stay and will want to come back. We plan to return as often as we can.

Easily one of the best units in the complex!

I have stayed at this resort in several units over the last 18 years so i had some high expectations for my stay on this trip.

I was not dissapointed.

The owners clearly put in the extra time and money updating this unit. The kitchen is stocked, bathroom and bedroom are both spacious, lots of seating on the patio and the use of bikes or tennis racquets are a nice touch.

The unit is situated just off the 12th green with a great view of the mountains to the north. Fantastic for eating outside since you get alot of shade throughout the day.

You have 3 pools within a 30 second walking distance and the driving range is less than 2 minutes away.

What also sets this unit apart are the owners. Easy to deal with and very professional not to mention they make you feel very welcome.

I would recommend this unit to anyone visiting Palm Desert.

Excellent Experience

We are a Canadian couple. This was our first experience of holiday rentals in Palm Desert & we stayed for a month. The location of the condo is excellent. The condo was stylishly & extensively remodelled, very clean, kitchen super equipped - a joy to cook in, perfect condo for a couple. Owners very attentive to all details & any concerns - extremely pleasant to deal with. We had a fabulous holiday. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends.

Hawaii without the ocean!!!!!!

This was our 1st time to Palm Desert--loved it, and we can't say enough about the Condo--it was very well equipped, and we felt it was our home away from home--very comfortable, furnished beautifully. What's not to like??? Right on the golf course--and we enjoyed the company of a couple of little hummingbirds to entertain us while sitting of the patio. Diane was very helpful letting us know of stores to shop at and things of interest in the area. Grocery stores were great and conveniently located--restaurants were very good--College of the Desert was fun--a huge street fair held every Sat. and Sun. We particularly loved the view of the mountains from the Condo--on the patio--beautiful!!!!!

We plan on going back to this Condo and would recommend it to anyone.

December 2011 rental

This was our first VRBO rental, and what a success! The condo was clean and functional, and a kind next-door neighbour helped orient us. We used the bikes (gave our own away years ago) with pleasure, and the pool (on our one warm day :) The owners made themselves available by phone for minor questions. The phone itself was a nice bonus - free N. American calls. We would definitely recommend this condo, and return ourselves in the future.
