A perfect weekend at a beautiful house!

I stayed at this beautiful home with 4 other couples in February 2011. We could tell from the pictures that it would be a nice place, but it was actually even more attractive than they portray. One entire wall of the house is essentially windows and directly overlooks Mount Snow -- we could watch people skiing down while eating breakfast! It is a multi-level building, with a huge kitchen, large living room, game room downstairs -- all of it very tastefully decorated. The owner, Sue, had told us that the kitchen would be well-stocked and that we did not need to bring any supplies, but we were surprised at *how* well-stocked it was. I think there were 3 electric pancake griddles! And plenty of bowls, pots, knives, etc. We did some elaborate cooking, but everything we needed to use was there. There were also lots of board games and books already there. At one point, there was a minor maintenance problem, but the owners dealt with it immediately (driving up themselves from Connecticut to handle it). The house is literally a 5 minute drive to Mount Snow -- could not be more convenient. I would highly recommend this property!
