Located in the sought after Gulf Trace community, SeaBatical is situated with panoramic views of Alligator Lake, Grayton Beach State Park, and the Gulf. Fall asleep in the evening and wake in the morning hearing the ocean. With 4 bedrooms/4 baths, screen porch, private pool, and a short walk to the beach (just 3 houses away) through the dunes, it is a great house for families to settle in for a week of fellowship and recreation.
Main Level (Second Floor): Enter the home on the second floor which is the main level. The newly renovated kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel frig, glass top range, dishwasher and microwave. The adjacent dining area opens out to a gulf view screen porch and deck. The vaulted Family Room offers a sofa, love seat, coffee table, 2 side chairs, ottoman, tables, lamps TV, DVD/VCR, stereo, wood-burning fireplace and views of the dunes and gulf. King bedroom on this floor has 2 bedside tables with lamps, 2 side chairs, dresser, TV, DVD and a private deck. Hall bath with tub/shower completes this floor.
Third Floor: Bamboo flooring on this floor. Bedroom has 2 twins, dresser, TV, bedside table, lamp, small private balcony and a private bath with tub/shower. Master bedroom has king bed, 2 bedside dressers with lamps, armoire with TV/DVD, side chair, small private balcony and a private bath with double vanity sinks and tub/shower.
Ground Level: The 4th bedroom on the ground level has a separate entrance. It is set up as a kid's bunkroom and has 2 bunk beds (double bed down, twin bed up on both sets), tile floors, individual bathroom with tub/shower and TV/DVD with video game hookups. This room is not attached to the main house, so is not appropriate for small children.
Outside: The private kidney-shaped, private heated pool (pool heating fees apply) is located directly off the back deck providing ready participation and easy supervision while lounging on the deck and/or grilling out on the gas grill.
Please note that the pool heater at SeaBatical is an electric heater, which cannot be operated should temperatures fall below 50°.
Parking for 4 cars with 2 shady spots under the house.
All the amenities of Seaside, WaterColor and Gulf Place are a short distance away via the bike path or Scenic Hwy 30A.
