We loved the villa we were in. The location was great. The size was just what perfect for the two of us and our pet for a five weeks stay. Gulf Coast Resort Rentals were easy to book through and very accommodating at the onset of our vacation. The property was not without issues when we arrived. The carpet needed cleaning. Ceiling lights were burned out, and blinds were broken. The Internet was not working and the owner even made a trip personally to our condo to try to get it up and running. Seven days into out stay we came home to the power being shut of and several days later there was a notice the gas would also be turned off. The electricity was off for approximately twenty four hours and we were relocated for that time period to another condo. We were told by the owner of the company that he would stop by and "settle up" with us the next day or the first part of the next week. Then the threat of the gas turn off happened and it was several hours before anyone responded. They sent an agent from their company that day to repair blinds and replace ceiling lights. A month went by without any "settling up". Several days before our departure I made a phone call to the vey cordial lady we had made the reservation with. She said she would talk with the owner and someone would get back to us. I even emailed every email address I had and not one person responded. I even made it clear we would like to return the following year. It was obvious they didn't want our business again by their lack of response. It is my opinion that this company should make sure the owners they are renting from have paid all of their bills before even leasing a property. Other than the days of disruption from he gas and electricity we did enjoy staying in the villa. We just wish it had concluded differently.
