Lodge Details: The Dining Room has a built-in nook, which can be used for additional seating or as an office area to conduct business or check your email. Satellite Dish TV. High speed internet. Main level laundry room. Fully equipped kitchen includes everything you will need to cook and entertain your guests. Balcony overlooks Great Room with wood burning fireplace. Wood is stocked for your convenience.

Canoe available at no add'l fee. (Due to last year's drought, the pond is extremely low...but of course, that's subject to change!)

Location Details: It's worth the short drive to stay at this secluded, 20 acre property. Unlike other listings in the Branson area, this

cabin is truly private, and is not a log cabin community with neighbors on every side. This site would be a very

unique setting for a wedding or event.

The Lodge is ideally located. Go any direction within a 45 minute to 1 hour range and you'll find yourself enjoying all the Ozarks have to offer. Bull Shoals Lake, Tablerock Lake, the Cliffs and Swimming Hole at the Buffalo River. There are several drop off/pick up spots for canoe floats along the Kings River near Berryville/Eureka Springs. Branson area attractions include Silver Dollar City, shows on the Strip, Branson Landing, Outlet Malls. Eureka Springs

offers year round shopping, seasonal festivals, and the Great Passion Play.

Harrison Attractions: The quaint town of Harrison, Ar was named as One of the Best Towns in America! It offers several nice restaurants for your dining pleasure. Neighbor's Mill is a wonderful gathering place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Mill features wonderful homemade breads, pastries and coffee drinks. There are several Mexican restaurants, Salsas is our favorite. You'll find a Walmart Supercenter for your convenience. Burlsworth Recreation Center is available during the summer months for swimming at the wonderfully-kept public pool. The Harrison Park which sits along the banks of Crooked Creek, is a lovely place to take the children to play, picnic, or feed the ducks. There are also walking/jogging trails along the creek, and tennis courts as well. Golfing is available for those who need to get out of the country for an afternoon!

About Wendy Hayes

The Lodge was built by our family in 2003-2004. It was a dream we had for over 20 years to build a log cabin. The massive 8 X 12' logs were purchased from a Tennessee log home company. Much of the work was completed by our family. Truly a labor of love. Welcome to The Lodge at Terrapin Creek! We hope you feel at home and sense the quiet, peaceful atmosphere while lodging here.

Relaxing Retreat for me and my girls....

Brought 8 of my yoga students to this cabin for a "Refresh, Rejuvenate, and Restore" Retreat where I had them in yoga bliss, relaxation, and hiking through God's creation all weekend. It was one of the most memorable trips for me as the instructor and all of my girls said it was the most relaxed they've been in a long time. But the cabin is what really made it all so. The decor, the attention to detail like seasonal soaps and toiletries, and plush towels, and beautiful fall flowers awaiting our arrival made it a true place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. The big fireplace was easy to light a roaring fire, and we enjoyed yoga by the fireside on our first night their. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of space to cook as my friend and i prepared all the healthy fare for the weekend. There was plenty of cookware and dishes to make a beautiful spread. The decks were massive and so beautiful to watch deer prance through the backyard. We did not get the oppurtunity to utilize the outdoor kitchen, but it was gorgeous and hopefully we will get to use it next - AS THERE DEFINATELY WILL FOR SURE BE A NEXT TIME! This cabin is close to everything, yet it feels like you are miles away from anything and you truly can relax and breathe. You don't need the tv while you are there. You don't need the wi-fi, although it works well, and you can leave your cell phones behind. You only need to walk it, set your things down, and sit on the comfy couches and breathe and enjoy peace, and quiet and enjoy slowing down. That's what I had my girls do, and they are still reeling from the successful relaxation. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. The owner is so kind, very easy to contact, and she thinks of everything. I truly feel like she prepped the house with the "golden rule" in mind. She thinks of everything! Thank you Wendy for everything. The home was everything I wanted for this retreat and more! We will be back!

Absolutely Wonderful

What an amazing place. This Lodge is breathtaking, immaculately clean, and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was accommodating to our needs, and worked with us. We felt as though she cared about our stay. The furniture was comfortable, and felt very homey. The kitchen was well equipped, and had everything we needed to have a great stay. The bathrooms were clean, and each had a nice feature. There were some complaints about the beds from some in our party, but no bed feels like yours at home. All things considered, this was one of the most beautiful cabins I have ever been stayed in, and would love to go back very soon. I would recommend it to anyone. Great place.

The Lodge in Fall

Our stay was wonderful. The house is most accomodating and the location is awesome. So glad the deer were trained in advance to entertain us and they did their job very well! The weather was good even with alitttle rain. House was nice and clean. Only disappontment was the upstairs bed which didn't seem like a queen size and was extremely soft. Alternative was the other upper bedroom with singles and that worked just fine. Owner was most responsive when we lost our key and we appreciate her quickness in replacing same. Location is close to golf, fishing and the 'castle building' in progress up north. Would highly recommend the listing.

Really feels like home

Thank you for opening up your home to our family and the people of Arkansas. It was very comfortable and really did feel like we were at "home." Did a lot of fishing in the pond and taking walks on the road. Here is what we did the other days-Harrison pool, walked the Square (Downtown Harrison), Mystic Caverns, Bull Shoals Lake, White River for trout fishing, and shopped in Branson. Thanks again and maybe we will be back again!

Great Cabin!

The cabin was peaceful and private. Not a neighbor in sight. The fishing was great and the accommodations were exceptional. The fire-pit was missing but overall a fantastic place.
