Lake Maggiore Villa Rental Photos and Description
8 Bedrooms, 5 Bathrooms, 3 Half Bathrooms, 20 Sleeps
On the ridge of the hills between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, in an eighteen-century park, the Sartori family built a modern, prestigious country house for their own family vacations. Now this house is available to families and groups wanting to spend a holiday in a roomy, comfortable, particularly charming house.
In the same park is a nineteenth-century 'Castellino', the 'Small Castle', built in neo-romantic style, fully renovated, facing the Italian-style garden, and an old Farmhouse called 'Casina Bianca', the “Little White House”.
Moreover Villa Sartori in Gattico is an ideal location for weddings, meetings, gala’s or business’ lunches and dinners, literary aperitifs and other events, where comfort, luxury and elegance are always joined to intimacy and privacy.
Now let’s venture into the Villa Gattico Park and look at the three homes.
It is useful to point out immediately that they are quite different in terms of characteristics, atmosphere, spaces and equipments.
The Villa, in the centre of the property in front of the swimming pool, on three levels (about 250 square metres on each level), for ten + three people: familiar and functional at the most, with cosy and very wide rooms, equipped with a lot of comforts more than the bare necessities, the Villa is certainly characterised from a refined and elegant style.
Castellino, overlooking the romantic garden, on three levels (about 70 square metres on each level), for five + two people: incredibly charming and glamorous house, in a certain way it sacrifices a little of functionality and some spaces to a really original architecture in neo-romantic style.
Casina, across from the main entrance, on two levels (about 70 square metres per level), where the housekeeper lives: old rural house, it keeps the old-fashioned simplicity and essentiality of an eighteenth century farmhouse.

About Carlotta Sartori
The Sartori family have owned Villa Gattico since the '60s.
Alberto, an engineer from Milan who is now in his sixties, handed the property in 1975 and has been in charge of the various expansions and maintenance work it has been subjected to over the past twenty years.
Alberto and his wife Raimonda, originally from Florence, began spending more and more time getting away from the noise and smog of Milan at Villa Gattico after the birth of their daughters.
Federica, the first, is working in the finance sector and the second one, Carlotta work, in the graphic arts field. Federica takes care, alongside her father, of the administrative side of things. Carlotta helps on marketing.
When they had put in the pool, renovated Casina and Castellino, and restored the eighteenth-century Park, the villa became an increasingly popular meeting place for their many friends at all times of year.
They still fondly recall the legendary treasure hunts, birthday parties, New Year’s Eves, and summer pool parties and all the guests who flocked to them.
But even if Alberto and Raimonda are not there, you'll never be alone!
As soon as you arrive you will meet Carlo, the housekeeper: he takes care of all the outdoor areas, the trees, flowers and lawn, who checks the pool, the water, the pumps and mo
