Owner / Property Manager purchased this house in 1976
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and very close to Holland state park as well as to bike trails. The owner introduced herself to us and was very friendly. The property was clean and well-maintained. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or come back again. We enjoyed visits to Windmill Island with our 2 year old grandson, De Boars restaurant for breakfast, and Alpine Rose for dinner one night when street performers were in the street.
Our family just got back from vacation and thoroughly enjoyed this home! Everthing was clean and well maintained. The owner was helpful and friendly. The backyard was very private, great deck, grill, and fence which made it very dog friendly. The home was stocked with everything we needed to stay comfortably. Bike trails were everywhere! The home is close to the beaches and great restaurants! The Beechwood Inn and Deboer's cafe and bakery were two of our favorites! Lunch at Froggy,s downtown is a must with their amazing ice-cream turtle bars! Thursdays in downtown Holland were great with street performers to enjoy!
We wished we would not have bought a year parking pass for Holland State Park. It was full 3 of the days we tried. Tunnel Park was just as close and much less crowed with plenty of parking. Their parking was cheaper, too! It also had a great dune to climb and a playground with lots of grills, picnic tables and volleball courts. Some grills and picnic tables were on top of the dune overlooking lake Michigan. It was beautiful! I would recommend this house to family and friends!
