Very Modern, new 3 BR/3.5 BA oceanfront condo with full panoramic ocean views. It has 3 separate balconies, one off each bedroom. The wraparound main balcony is directly facing the sunset and the ocean. You could literally hit a golf ball into the ocean from the balcony. Free Wireless Wifi, of course.
The furnishing are all very high-end with white leather couches, granite countertops, top of the line appliances, all facing the ocean in an all glass living room. The walls making up the entire corner of the living room/dining room are glass with 4 huge glass sliding doors that open to the ocean.
Pool is right outside of the condo, balcony is above it, waterfall, etc and you walk from it directly on to the beach, under the palm tree grove.
In the evenings always with a sunset, we have dinner outside, watching surfers with a glass of wine on the balcony. We love it down there. You will too.
Convinent and Safe: The property is right on the beach...overlooking the ocean and only one block from the main street in central Jaco...so all of the resturants, shops, and activites are right in walking distance.
The onsite management is there everyday and the security guards are there 24/7.
The management can help arrange any number of activites in the area with ease.
My wife and I live in Vail, CO and have two small children. We both work at the hospital there and love to take the kids to Costa Rica to get away from the snowy mountains. The unit is very easy with little people as the pool and beach are right there. You can walk to all the restaurants, shopping, activities, etc.

We have been to Costa Rica 8-10 times and it is a safe, kind country. The population is educated and we find the country interesting and fun. Very little crime, especially against visiting Americans, as we indirectly protect them; they have no military and we have many Marine bases there. The country looks like Hawaii without all the 'rules' of the US and is much less expensive and FAR more interesting. It is by no means third world anymore.
We loved how close the condo was to the ocean!...My mother would watch me surf from the balcony and then we could jump right in the pool. The pool was right on the beach also and had waterfalls!
This was one of the best vacation I have taken so far. The condo was better than expected. I was really impressed with the layout and design. The view panoramic view was perfect over looking the beach. I definitely recommend staying here. I am looking forward to my next visit.
Let me start off by saying that this was my family's 5th visit to Costa Rica. We love this country and will keep coming back. We love to come springbreak because there is little to no rain and the perfect temp.
Of all the properties we have stayed, (a different spot each time in different areas) this has been our favorite. This condo is gorgeous! We are also hard to please as we own gulf front condos in Florida but love to travel. All the floor to ceiling windows give you an unbelievable view. I told Terrell, the owner, that I could have lived on the balcony. It is nicely shaded with a small breeze. It is heaven on earth. The condo was perfect. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen has everything you would ever need. The condo is nice and big with plenty of room to spread out. The complex was very quiet, no problem to sleep in. Daystar was great! They picked us up at the airport on time, took us to the grocery store on the way, and set up our tours with ease. Tour to Tortuga Island is a must! Nice catamaran ride to a beautiful beach, lunch served on white tablecloths on picnic tables in the sand, snorkeling, banana boat riding, great beach time! Would definitely go again!
The pool at the condo was perfect! It had umbrellas for shade, was very clean, and the perfect temperature. It kept my son very happy! Never crowded. Daystar also set up massages for us on the balcony. Very reasonable and professional.
We didn't lease a car because we were only 1 block off of the main street. It is so easy to get around. Great shopping and wonderful food. Grocery right across the main street. So nice and close. Terrell was so easy to work with and answered every question I asked before the trip. (And believe me, I ask a lot of questions!) Couldn't have been a better trip, hope to definitely go back and stay at this condo. Highly recommended.
My husband and I went with two other couples to this condo in January and as I had done lots of research and had asked many questions, I knew it was going to be fantastic. We arrive on January 10th and the condo was ready to go when we walked in the door. We did some some cooking while there, but only breakfast, as we were normally gone most every day on tours and in the evening we liked to try the different restaurants in the area.
Daystar Property Mgmt. was there whenever we needed them with any questions or concerns and were wonderful with setting up all of our tours and even re-arranging some of them due to rain we had on several afternoons. Daystar setting up the tours helped alleviate any fears of not knowing how "good" some of the tour companies may or may not have been.
We did the Crocodile Man tour, horsebackriding w/the waterfall, Zip-lining,Tortuga Island, golfing at Los Suenos, Poas Volcano + La Paz Waterfalls and Manual Antonio National Park -- all excellent choices and we were fortunate enough to have the same tour guide for the last two and we're now fast friends! Seriously, we are planning to be back there in two years but for two weeks next time.
The condo is perfectly placed on the beach for easy access to the water. The beach is rocky so you'll want to wear water shoes but the water is so warm and refreshing. We spent a couple mornings just walking the beach and it was heavenly. It was very humid while there so the condo windows tend to fog up and the floor can be slippery so be careful -- both inside and out on the balconies. The balconies were so nice to have off each bedroom, although we moved all six chairs to the main balcony off the living area so we could all sit out there and rehash our day's events.
There were a few very minor things that I gave to Daystar to look at in the condo such as replacing the A/C filter in the 2nd bedroom as it wasn't cooling very well; the washing machine made a loud clanking noise every time you used it when it was in rinse mode; lights under the kitchen cabinets weren't all working and bulbs just needed to be replaced -- things like that. I figure, people who had previously rented probably didn't bother to tell anyone at Daystar and so these are things that would not get noticed by housekeeping. None of those things were critical at all and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'll add some photos so you can see what I mean about how amazing this place really is.
Great location, amazing view, well stocked with all the conveniences of home. Our party had 2 couples and our father in law and the property was perfectly set up for that. It was a great base for all of our adventures and the owner's advice was spot on and answered most of our questions before we ever asked them. The management company was very helpful with places to eat, booking adventures and things to do. Wonderful time had by all.
I just wanted to say that we saw pictures of this condo before booking it, but when 4 of us(2 couples) stepped inside and saw it in real ,all of us inhaled huge 'wow'. Please note that we are not easy to be impressed, we are all well traveled, own single houses in US suburbs and etc. This condo is an example of luxury, modern living and tasteful decorations and view is to die for. This kind of condos are shown in the movies about the high and powerful. We just did not want to move from the balcony , we had never seen anything like it: ocean, sun set into the turquoise waters, scarlet-orange sunrise. Location of the building is perfect as well, all great restaurants are located in the very short walking distance. Pool in this building complex is great too, we have acquainted pet iguanas that were usually sunbathing beside it. Owner of the condo is a very nice person who helped us a lot with advices re activities and choices of restaurants.
The Jaco Diamonte del Sol condo was our last stop in our journey through Costa Rica that took us to an open-air jungle house on the Caribbean coast, then to a spa resort in Arenal, then to a private home near Chomes in Puntarenas and finally to Jaco. It was a great trip and each property was unique and awesome in its own way. But the Jaco condo was so welcoming we wished we didn't have to leave. The place was spotless and inviting. The decor was beautiful yet comfortable. Each room had balcony access, and the main balcony was enormous and the views were breathtaking. Everything about the place exuded luxury. In the U.S., this would be a $2 million condo, and that's exactly how it felt. The layout was perfect. The bedroom entrances were far apart, and with en suite bathrooms in each, it was perfect. The cool marble floors felt great on the feet. The A/C worked very well. The building itself was quiet. We never heard another person talking, walking around, anything from inside the condo. Would highly recommend this place. Terell was fantastic to work with and the property managers do a good job of making sure the place is clean -- in and out. Jaco isn't the best beach in Costa Rica, but there were definitely areas where it was nice to swim -- big waves! Loved this place. Jaco has some good restaurants -- it was far more touristy than the other places were visited in CR. Graffiti (it's a little difficult to find because it's sort of hidden in a strip mall -- but very close to the condo) was a real gem.
