Photos and Description of the Stonington vacation barn rental
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, 4 Sleeps

Sleeps 2 in the bedroom and up to 4 in the sleeping loft (both on the second floor.) One friendly, well-mannered pet is welcome with a refundable $150 deposit. Children of all ages are welcome; however, we do not have a crib or child gates for the stairs. Minimum rental period is 1 week.

Full kitchen includes: electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, toaster, espresso maker, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery.

Full bath includes: large pedestal sink, toilet (of course!), tub/shower combination, towels. There is also an outdoor charcoal barbecue built into one of our many large rocks.

This rental is called 'the Red Barn' for a reason ~ it is a converted barn for the original farmstead. We live in the house on the property and have a dog, cat and a pony on the premises.

Stonington beach pass included. Bring your bikes or rent locally as Stonington Borough with its shops, restaurants, lighthouse and beach is just 2 miles away. Mystic is also within biking distance (but with a hill) at 3-4 miles and Watch Hill and Misquamicut, RI are a 20 minute drive.

2 1/2 hours from NYC and 1 1/2 hrs from Boston by car. There's a train station in Mystic (Amtrak) and car rental available or taxi cab.

The Connecticut shoreline is beautiful and unique in all seasons with lots to see and do!

About Sandra Wright

Jim works full-time at Mystic Seaport in the Shipyard, doing antique engine restoration and sawing logs for the Charles W. Morgan project. Sandra is a nursing student, fulfilling a lifelong dream. We have a dog named Kelly, a cat named Hobo and a pony named Tommy Dorsey.

One look and we fell in love! The location is perfect: quiet and rural, lots of trees. Yet we're only 5 minutes from Mystic and Stonington Borough, 10 minutes from Westerly, RI and 20 minutes from Watch Hill and Misquamicut.
