Lanie's Beach House is a quaint single story beach house, furnished in an eclectic beach style for your comfort and enjoyment. It is owner operated and maintained and is located just a few blocks from the relaxing, yet not overcrowded, Jacksonville Beach and the scenic intra coastal waterway. The house is located near all the action, but far enough away to enjoy and relax while you are on vacation.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with accommodations for 6.
U-Verse and Wi-Fi are available throughout the house.
It is on a large corner lot with a fenced back yard, a gas grill, and patio furniture to sit and relax or entertain, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a fun day at the beach.
The master has a en suite bath with shower, TV and a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed and the 3rd bedroom features a day bed that can be used as a single twin, 2 twins, or together for a king size bed. Also available are a pack n play and cradle.
There is a large casual living room area, with a 47 inch flat screen TV/DVD, and another living area with a large TV/DVD, fireplace and desk area. The dinning room is connected to this area and is a wonderful place for family and friends to hang out and have fun. The kitchen is fully supplied with - dishes, silverware, glassware, cooking utensils, blender, microwave, toaster oven, & coffee maker. There is a stove, dishwasher and Fridge with an ice-maker.
There is a full laundry facility with washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. All linens and towels are furnished. The main bath has a tub with shower.
There are 4 beach communities within a 5 mile radius to explore and visit,each with their own personality, 3 of which are accessible by trolley. There are many shoppes and restaurants near by and many fun things to do within a few blocks or within a few miles.

About Owner / Property Manager
When I bought this house in 1992 I was drawn to it's beach caricature, large yard and quietness of the neighborhood. I have upgraded many features in the house over the years, but have maintained its original caricature as well as I could. I am a semi retired RN, married to Jay for 18 years and have one son age 10 named RJ.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Jacksonville Beach
I moved to the Jacksonville area in 1990 to be close to the beach. I worked in Jacksonville, but decided to live at the beach. Within 2 yrs I started working at the Beaches Hospital, bought a house and have been a beach girl ever since. The house was built in 1947 and is a standard concrete block house. It has been through a couple of hurricanes with little to no damage and was meant to last. I feel it is meant to be shared also. This is not a high traffic beach town, but a fun, laid back community that is proud of its heritage and loves to enjoy its benefits.
What makes this house unique
Over the 22 years I have lived here the community has grown, because people come here, realize what a gem it is, appreciate the weather, and want to make it their home also. But it is still a great beach area without all the commercialization of some beach communities. I maintain and clean the property, so it will be well taken care of and the towels and sheets will be fresh and clean. Being a nurse, I am meticulous at wiping down surfaces and checking everywhere for dust I can.
