This house is the one of the largest, newest, and closest houses you can get to south congress! It is one block east of soco in travis heights, behind homeslice pizza and the continental club,

It is a very spacious 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home with a large loft space furnished with a sleeper sofa that sleeps 2.

It's over 2700 square feet of space to enjoy!

There are three huge terraces to sit back and relax on, while listening to the live music coming from over from south congress avenue, literally one street over! (No joke! 'Guero's under the oak tree' has live music on the weekends that we enjoy from anywhere in the house with the windows open, and on the terraces clear as day!)

The 2nd story terrace and the rooftop deck both have views of the Austin skyline. But the rooftop is by far the most impressive. Unobstructed views of downtown Austin & the Texas Hill Country while you relax on the comfortable outdoor furniture drinking your margarita or lone star beer!

And parking is never an issue! There is a huge driveway in the back of the house, as well. The automatic gate opens with a touch of a button, while you pull your car into the back of the property and shut the gate behind you (all automated!) safety and privacy! & The driveway easily fits four vehicles.

The house is equipped with high speed wireless internet, and there is cable television in every room on flat screen tv's.

Comfortable linens in the bedrooms, and turkish towels in all the bathrooms make the stay that much better.

The house has keypads on all the doors, that will be coded for your particular stay! So no keys to pass around when people leave. Everyone simply uses a personalized 4-digit pin to gain entry into the home from the front or rear of the house.

There is a security system in the house, as well, for additional levels of safety.

Note:

1. the house was recently purchased and updated with new hardwood floors, modern paint and aluminum ceiling fans, as well as new furnishings. The artwork seen in the living room will be different, as well as significant changes to linens and decor. Updated pictures weekly, as the work continues on the house.

2. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a perfect Jack-n-Jill bathroom, meaning they each have their own private vanity and sink area with large walk-in closets, but do share a shower area and toilet.

Austin Perfection

We have stayed at many vacation rentals in a lot of different cities over the past couple of years and I'll have to say this property has been one of the very best.

Lee was an absolute pleasure to deal with, very prompt, helpful and thorough.

The house itself was amazing. It's centrally located in a great area within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and shops. The house seemed to be recently renovated and is extremely comfortable, very tastefully decorated and very clean. All in all, could not be happier! We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Austin.

TRULY AMAZING HOUSE!

We stayed at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday and have to say it was the most amazing home. Not only was it comfortable and cozy but it was beautifully designed and styled. It is in perfect walking distance to great restaurants and shops and to wonderful parks. They even had amenities for our young daughter who was with us including a highchairs and baby gates. We cannot wait to return!

Oh if I had the money to buy this house!

Loved this house. The decor was wonderful. The features of the house itself were wonderful. Everything we needed was there. I wish we could have spent more time there and the weather would have co-operated. It has wonderful decks but it was cold and rainy. Go figure the only bad week out of the month. But the house was still really amazing with some amazing features. The owner couldn't have made things any easier and we got our security deposit back immediately. Thank you for the wonderful time in Austin. If we get a chance we will definitely book this house again.

Perfect SoCo Home

Easy and timely dealings with Lee the owner who is flexible and pleasant. He gave great detailed instructions on how to maximize comfort (remote controls, eye cover heads-up for rooms w/o blackout shades, etc.). And he's already credited back our security deposit 72hrs after checkout. The house is beautiful, clean, well appointed, well stocked (plenty of luxury linens/towels a plus) well laid out, and perfectly located a block off S Congress. A mere stroll to high end or "funky" shopping/dining/entertainment. Rooftop deck is wonderful with great views. Door keypads a welcome alternative to keys. Gated parking. What more could you want? Well, perhaps an actual sofa bed upstairs for extra sleep area? What a minor detail in an absolutely fantastic place.

Owner's Response: My apologies! Although not a traditional "pull-out" sofa, the upstairs modern sofa does flatten to a queen size sleeper. I'll definitely incorporate the info on how to convert it into the instructions for the house.
