Log Cabin w/2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms steps from the river.

New to the market (so please look at reviews from my adjacent property #101740), located on a secluded road on the lovely Damariscotta River, 1.5 miles from the village. A completely furnished year round log cabin, very light, bright and airy. Lovely sunsets and night-time skies are fabulous from the deck, dock or front lawn. By kayak, canoe or row boat visit the surrounding islands, seeing seals, terns, eagles, Blue Heron and Osprey. Swim off the shared dock. There are wonderful restaurants, shops and local theater (both movies and live).

I have been here since my first summer long ago. It has been a wonderful place to grow up swimming, boating, playing. The walk to the village is an easy walk - 1.5 miles.

What makes this cabin unique

This is a nice little stroll around the point and children will enjoy this by bicycle.

This log cabin is fantastic! I was fortunate to stay for 2 months....February and March 2013. House was so comfortable, full kitchen, laundry, woodstove, internet.....but the owner, Rebecca, is the star. She things of all the little details a traveler might need. When 3 feet of snow might have prevented me from getting to work on a weekend, the area was plowed and I was escorted to the main road. If any issues came up, she was available just down the road and so helpful! I have lived in many locations for travel-work over the last 13 years, and this is one of my favorite places. I would return to this cabin in a minute....or any property Rebecca had to offer. Don't hesitate....waterfront cabin on the Damariscotta River with wonderful owner and all the amenities of home make this a rustic gem.
