3 BR, 2 Bath Cape Near Nantucket Sound Beaches

This charming, well-decorated Chatham Cape, located on a quiet cul-de-sac; has three floors of living space. The main level has an open floor plan consisting of the living room, dining room and kitchen. There is also an outdoor dining table on the deck and a lovely screened in porch with a cathedral ceiling. This main level also has a queen sized bedroom and bathroom. The second floor has two nice sized bedrooms and a bath with shower. There is a bright TV Room on the first floor walk-out level, which is great for kids.

The house has many amenities including, a large sunny deck overlooking the back yard, a screened-in porch; a fully-applianced kitchen with dishwasher, good mattresses, linens available upon request, three cable TVs, WiFi, Stereo, Washer/Dryer and charcoal grill. There is also A/C in the Master Bedroom and Living Room, ceiling fans and room fans, an outdoor shower, large yard, and garage for storing bikes and beach gear.

About Elizabeth Hayes

I am a native of Chicago, but have lived in Boston for my entire adult life. My husband and I have always loved Cape Cod, particularly Chatham and spend time there whenever we are able. I am a realtor near Cambridge. My mother is a well-known interior decorator in Chicago and I too share an interest in interiors, landscaping and design.

My husband and I are francophiles and I am fluent in French.

Why Elizabeth Hayes chose Chatham

This house appealed to us because of its location. You can walk to three Nantucket Sound beaches from the front door. One is a half mile. Two larger beaches are about 3/4 of a mile. After returning from the beach, you arrive at a comfortable, sunny, relaxing place to call home.

What makes this house unique

The screened-in porch with cathedral ceiling and the large deck are terrific additions that make any stay at the house enjoyable.

Nicely Decorated, Comfortable, Sunny Home

My family and I have been coming to Chatham since the 1970s and we have stayed in many rental cottages and homes. Nearly all of these had tired "beach house" decor. This house, by contrast, is so well-decorated with nice color, lovely furnishings, really nice lighting, and comfortable, sunny rooms. Beds are comfortable; kitchen has good-quality cookware (unlike so many rentals). The house is at the end of a quiet street and is a walkable to the Nantucket Sound coastline. We loved Red River beach and Forest Beach. All in all, we loved the house and the area. It is just a very pleasant place in which to spend a vacation and we will certainly stay here again.

Highly recommend this home -- great new kitchen!

We've stayed at this lovely cape several times over the last few years. It is an extremely comfortable home -- very clean, bright and has a well-stocked ktichen. We love having our morning coffee, and evening cocktails, on the lovely back deck. Between the deck, living room, screened-in porch, and family room in the walk-out basement, there is ample room for people to either spread out or gather for different activities. The renovated kitchen looks beautiful - can't wait to be back in a few months! Home is within walking distance to several beaches. We've walked to Forest Beach (love watching the windsurfers here!), Red River Beach and Pleasant Street Beach and love them all.

Awesome House!

My family and I have rented houses all over the Cape, this was by far the best one! I love the warm beaches of Chatham and this house is located a short walk or bike ride from two spectacular beaches and is also close to the bike path which was a real plus for us. We were a three generation family, grandparents, parents and two children and we fit perfectly into the house. The house is so comfortable and well laid out. We loved hanging out in the evenings on the screened in porch and listening to the sounds of summer. The home owners have a wonderful sense of style and they were super easy to work with. They made the whole rental experience so easy for us. I can't recommend this house more highly and I can't wait to go back!!
