The 'Pavillon d'Horloge', built at the beginning of 1800, is a detached property in the grounds of the main house. This two bedroom well presented house benefits from a sunny courtyard garden. Here you can soak up the sun and enjoy 'al fresco' dining. The house has been newly restored (exposed beams, stripped wooden doors and terracotta floors). Entry is through French windows into the open plan kitchen/living area. The kitchen is well equipped with electric and gas hob, dishwasher, electric grill/oven, micro wave and larder fridge. Satellite television and a music centre. On the second floor you will find a king sized double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both rooms benefit from large wardrobes for clothes storage. The large bathroom is between the two bedrooms (twin sinks, a purpose built shower, WC). Adjoining the house is a store room containing the washing machine and a fridge freezer. The 'Gite' is centrally heated for the winter season. Sheets and towels are provided.

Here's just so much to do and see: Both the gite and bed and breakfast are located about 10 km from Beziers with the Arena, the cathedral, the theatre, the Canal du Midi with its 9 locks... a wide range or interesting shopping and good restaurants (pedestrianised area of the town). North of Beziers there are deep river-valleys surrounded by high rocks with fantastic views over the countryside. This region in general offers many possibilities for everyone: For those who like water: the Mediterranean offers surfing, sailing, water-skiing (20 min), and the rivers Orb and l'Hérault offer swimming, fishing, and canoeing. Sightseeing: Montpellier (40 min), with over 2000 years old history, and Carcassonne - the city of the cathars and the massive 'La Cité' fortress. Nearby, the many Cathar-castles. Narbonne (30 min), Pezenas, the city of Molière (15 min). The Cevennnes (45 min) with lots of caves which you can visit. For the gourmets: the bassin de Thau is known for its oysters and mussels.

Wir haben ein Kleinod vorgefunden, mit wunderbaren Gastgebern, in einer herrlich unspektakulären Umgebung. Das ist eine erstklassige Adresse für alle, die sich für das südfranzösische Landleben begeistern können. Die Möglichkeiten zu interessanten Aktivitäten sind sehr gut, sowohl die schönen Strände, als auch das wild-romantische Hinterland und nette kleine Städtchen lassen keine Langeweile aufkommen. Wir und unsere Kinder haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Danke an Hanne und Horst.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt ganz ruhig im Grünen. Man ist in ca. 20min am Strand, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden (frisches Baguette im Dorf), weitere große Supermärkte in den nächsten größeren Orten. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingrichtet, Küche gut ausgestattet und ein gemütlicher Platz zum Essen im Garten. Die Vermieter wohnen direkt daneben, sind jederzeit ansprechbar, geben gerne Tipps für die Umgebung. Wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte ist dies auch kein Problem.

Gîte Tour de l'Horloge

Großzügig ausgestattetes Gîte mit viel Platz und ausgezeichneter Küchenausstattung. Die zwei Schlafzimmer und das große Bad bieten ausreichend Bewegungsmöglichkeiten insbesondere für zwei Personen. Selbstverständlich ist das Gîte auch für 4 Personen ausreichend.
Besonders geschätzt haben wir die absolute Ruhe in der Nacht, was natürlich auch dadurch bedingt ist, das das Anwesen ca. 1 - 2 km vom Ort Espondeilhan entfernt liegt. Also wer morgens ein frisches Baguette will, rauf aufs Rad und los geht's. (Fahrräder werden zur Vergügung gestellt!)
Sehr günstig gelegen für alle Touren ans Meer sowie ins Hinterland, Anfahrt zur Hauptstraße nach Beziers bzw. Pézenas ca. 10 Min. mit dem Auto.

Freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter und ein wunderschön eingerichtetes Haus.

Alle Online-Angaben waren korrekt.

Der Strand und das schöne Hinterland mit Bademöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Auch hier gute Tipps vom Vermieter.

Wir können dieses Feriendomizil auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

2 Wohlfühlwochen in Frankreich!

Wir haben hier diesen Sommer zwei sehr entspannte und erholsame Wochen in Espondeilhan verbracht. Wir hatten für unsere 5-köpfige Familie das Ferienhaus gemietet und waren begeistert. Es ist genauso wie in der Anzeige beschrieben und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.Die Lage ist sehr gut, da man in 30 Min das Meer und auch den Orb zum Baden beyuem erreichen kann. Ausserdem kann man sehr viele andere Ausfüge unternehmen. Die Vermieter Hanne und Horst waren sehr gastfreundlich und wir haben einige nette Abende in Ihrem schönen Park bei einem Glas Wein verbracht. Von Ihnen haben wir auch einige wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge oder Weingüter bekommen.Unser Hund Bonny war ein gern gesehener Gast, auch wenn sie auf die Katzen nicht so gut zu sprechen war. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, wir werden bestimmt einmal wiederkommen.
