Welcome to our little piece of paradise on the Island of Maui. ..a spacious one bedroom condo with everything you need for your vacation in this paradise. Our home away from home has a brand new kitchen with granite countertops and and as well is stocked with anything you may need for your vacation meals. There is a full size washer and dryer in the condo for your convenience. We supply all the linens, towels and , coolers, beach chairs , beach towels and umbrella for your visits to Maui's beautiful beaches. Enjoy your meals on our large lanai that has some views to the ocean and we are only steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches - Kamaole 1. This well kept complex has a pool, hot tub , sauna and a BBQ area. There is shopping, great restuarants and grocery stores within walking distance. Relax and enjoy your vacation in our home away from home..you'll love it!

About Joanne Rathgaber

We are retired and live on Vancouver Island in Victoria BC. In 1992, we saw Maui we fell in love with it and have been coming with our family ever since. We always appreciated a well kept condo when we were renting and so we strive to keep ours up to date and filled with everything you need for your vacation in the sun. We love all Maui's beaches and everything else Maui has to offer.

We had been coming to the Kihei Alii Kai for years and loved it so we bought here. We loved the larger suites and the big lanais. The Alii Kai is a well kept building and so close to one of the most beautiful beaches! Close to shopping and restaurants and anything else you might like!

Excellent Maui condo

This was a great spot for our little family. The condo was very well equipped and we ate many of our meals in. We loved having all the comforts of home with the bonus of being in paradise! It was great having the beach only a short stroll away. Overall the property was nicely kept and tastefully decorated. Would definitely stay again!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Rathgaber's(C202)It felt like a home away from home. Lot's of information on ideas for things to do and see! Fully equipped suite which was very handy and appreciated. Had a blast and would definitely go again,but would stay longer. Much needed relaxing vacation!!! Thanks again,

"Perfect Location Exceptional Value"
We have stayed at Kihei alii Kai for approximately five years in a row around the same time of year. We really like this unit because of it's Ocean Views and closeness to the pool. The unit itself is beautifully decorated with all the supplies you need - just like home. We would definately recommend staying in this unit for our friends or family in the future!

"Home away from Home in Paradise"
We have stayed in Joanne Rathgaber's condo at kihei alii Kai many times and we keep coming back! It is beautifully decorated with lots of Hawaiian art and crafts. Which is a very nice touch to the experience. It is so comfortable, and so well equipped in the kitchen for all of your cooking needs. It is also very clean and well- maintained. It is very convenient to beaches and shopping. They have beach chairs coolers. towels, etc. all the goodies you need for your trips to the beach. It is so nice to have a home like this to come back to at the end of a day of enjoying paradise! I highly reccomend this condo and ( My husband also agrees) to anyone looking for " A Home away from Home In Paradise" . Thanks Joanne. Debbie and Murray

"Wonderful family holiday - the best!"
This was our first time in Maui, the condo is in the perfect Kihei location, 5 minutes to the beach Kamaole Sands 1, even saw a turtle swimming in the bay one day, close to the restaurants, cinnamon bun restaurant, the snorkel rental place and 5 minutes drive to the best fish & chips - Alexander's. Beautiful sunsets from the lanai, swimming pool, hot tub. This is your home away from home with a well stocked kitchen, washer & dryer , and all the toys that you need for the beach, cooler, beach chairs & umbrella. We packed a lot in 7 days , even drove to Hana, but next time it will have to be a longer stay.
