Nice, standard penthouse suite
This was a good deal because of the included parking. Otherwise, it's a basic bare-bones place to rest at night while adventuring during the day.

Spacious condo at a decent location, needs few upgrades.
My recent stay at a VRBO property in Honolulu, a 1-bedroom condo on the top floor of the Aqua Palms hotel, was a mixed experience. While the location and amenities offered convenience, there were notable drawbacks that affected the overall satisfaction. The inclusion of reserved parking was a definite plus, especially in a bustling city like Honolulu. The kitchen, albeit small, was adequately stocked, making meal preparation convenient for guests. However, several issues detracted from the overall experience. Firstly, upon entering the condo, a pervasive unpleasant odor was immediately noticeable. Fortunately, turning on the A/C helped mitigate the smell, but the underlying cause remained a concern. Addressing this issue is crucial for ensuring a comfortable stay for future guests. The convertible sleeper sofa was another point of contention. The bed frame sagged in the middle, making it uncomfortable for sleeping. This is a fundamental aspect that needs immediate attention to enhance the quality of sleep for guests utilizing this space. The condition of the bathroom left much to be desired. A cracked floor in the bathtub and a dirty shower curtain detracted from the overall cleanliness. These issues, especially for families with children, can significantly impact the overall comfort and satisfaction of the stay. Inadequate lighting in one side of the bedroom made accessing closets a challenge. Improving the lighting situation would enhance the functionality of the space
