Long Lake is located in the heart of The Adirondack Park with access to some of the best hiking, boating, and fishing in the region. Located right on our road is a trail head for The Northville Place trail, which covers 133 miles of the park. There are also many mountain hikes near by that afford amazing views of the surrounding lakes and forest. Some of my personal favorite hikes are Blue Mountain in Blue Mountain Lake and Owl's Head in Long Lake. Enjoy motor boating of paddling right from our private boat dock, or explore some of many other lakes and rivers in the region. If the weather isn't cooperating, our house is a short drive from The Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake and The Wild Center Museum of Natural History in Tupper Lake. We have a lots of information at the house to help you access the parts of the park that interest you the most.
If rest and relaxation is what you have in mind, our beautiful lake front home is the perfect place for that too. Grab a good book and wile the day away on our huge deck overlooking the lake. When you feel like a change of scenery, you can relocate to the hammock down the hill, or the lean-to.
