Our home is a newly renovated and newly furnished 2 story private house on 2 lots. The upstairs (main house) is 3 Bedrooms 2 Baths decorated in a modern beachy style and features BEAUTIFUL water views from the livingroom, kitchen, and bedrooms. The livingroom has a flat panel TV and wood-burning fireplace to make you feel cozy. The brand-new kitchen has a spacious granite counter top the color of beach sand and has numerous kitchen gadgets for the serious cook. Our dining table seats 10 people plus the kitchen counter has 4 barstools. The master bedroom has a new king size pillow-top 100% organic latex foam mattress with Tommy Bahama bedspread and 800 thread-count sheets. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have new queen mattresses, 600 thread-count sheets, with coastal-inspired bedding and decor. All bedrooms have ample closet space and dressers.
Downstairs is a separate living space that is included in the rental and can be used for a 2nd family travelling with you, an in-law suite, or perhaps a teenager den. It is 1 bedroom 1 bathroom decorated in a nautical theme. The living room has a flat panel TV and a dining table with 4 chairs. The small kitchen is complete, with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The bedroom is a bunk room that has 4 new twin beds. The bathroom has a shower and tub.
The back yard consists of a covered patio, paved large outdoor space with private hot tub, outdoor dining tables, chairs, chaise lounges, ping-pong table, gas BBQ grill, and tropical flower garden. There's an outdoor shower to get the salt and sand off, too. The side yard is really an empty lot, as the property sits on 2 lots. The side yard has an outdoor fireplace (fire pit) that can be used on cool nights while star-gazing or marshmallow roasting. We have a volleyball and badminton net, frisbees, and a Corn Hole game, so plenty of grass for sports on our property.
Down the street is the community swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, shuffleboard, bocci ball court, and yoga classes. Restaurants abound, as well as miniature golf, water-sports rentals, a pirate cruise, golf courses, and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home to Winter the dolphin, made famous in the movie 'A Dolphin's Tale'.
Nearby St. Petersburg offers many museums including the new Salvador Dali Museum, as well as the smaller St. Pete-Clearwater Airport (all 20 minutes away). Tampa has the larger international airport (40 minutes away), Busch Gardens, and Adventure Island theme parks.
Depending on the month of your stay, sports abound! Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, NY Yankees, and the Phillies. Concert halls and theaters are in all directions, all within 30 minutes drive.
