Marg..Thank You so much for arranging our stay at Coquina Cove . It was without question, the best vacation we have ever had. The home was gorgeous..the photos really don't do it justice... the view was incredible ! We spent many hours just relaxing on the beautiful beach out front, followed by evenings on the private balcony overlooking the Gulf ,enjoying our outdoor dinners while watching the spectacular sunsets . Thank you again ! We will definately be returning next year!
Conquina Cove more than exceeded our expectations. The house was gorgeous, beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything we needed. It was nice to have a garage to park in. Lots of stairs to walk up from the garage or from outside though. The beach is very nice. We especially enjoyed the view from the upstairs deck, this was the first place we were in the am and in the evenings to watch the beautiful sunsets. The master bedroom was very roomy and the master bathroom had a huge walk in shower. There were lots of doors that you could close off certain areas of the house as needed. This was our 2nd. trip to Manasota Key. It's as great as we remembered from last fall. We visited Stump Pass park again, however, the shoreline had changed from last year due to a hurricane that was there a couple of months ago (according to a local fisherman). We also went north up the beach to Blind Pass park. That was very nice also. We went for walks everyday on the shoreline in both directions. We went up to Venice for a day and browsed through the little shops. On another day we visited the car museum in Port Charlotte. If you like vintage General Motors cars, this is a great place to go. For restaurants we would recommend the Lock & Key, and Mama's Italian restaurant, we had their pizza one night, it was very good and another night we went there for dinner. We also ate at a Mexican restaurant in Englewood, don't remember the name, it was on Dearborn St. We would like to thank Marg for all her correspondence with us. We were very worried about the "red tide" that had been there previous to our stay. We were relieved to find the majority of it had gone away. There was some evidence of it in front of the empty lot next door. On our last day there it was very windy and we weren't able to sit out on the beach in front of the property as the wind was coming from that direction. So we sat up on the deck where it wasn't noticeable at all. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who would want to stay on the Mansota Key. We would definitely stay here again.
From the moment you walk in the door at Coquina Cove, the view of the ocean and beach will take your breath away. The home is exceptional, clean, modern, very spacious and has loads of extras. The balcony on the house is the spot to hang out. The beach at Coquina Cove is gorgeous and uncrowded. It's a great place for people who want to be at the beach, but in a quiet "old Florida" way. Marg was great to work with, answered all my questions and even gave us information on the area. We will be back!!!
