House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-6)

Oceanview house in the quiet town of Seal Rock. Beautiful ocean views from the dining area, living room and deck. 8 miles South of Newport. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Pet-friendly with fenced yard. The house is well maintained and fully equipped. There is a nice Oceanview from the main living area and front deck. There are two bedrooms that each have a Queen size bed (plus there is an inflatable mattress that can be used in the living room). The house has an open layout with the kitchen, dining area and living room all open to each other. The bathroom has a wheelchair accessible shower. The house is 1 block to Seal Rock State park which has a fantastic sheltered beach.

About The Owner

We are avid travelers who enjoy staying in small towns. We also enjoy renting houses when we travel because it seems to encourage more socializing and "gathering" during the vacation. We own 2 corgi dogs and they also love to travel. We love Seal Rock, OR. So much so that we live in the same neighborhood as this rental house!

The Owner purchased this house in 2006
Why The Owner chose Seal Rock

Seal Rock has some of the nicest beaches anywhere. The state park has a somewhat sheltered beach that seems to get less wind than many beaches. In additon to the State Park, there is another long beach that you can walk for miles on. Newport, OR is only 8 miles away and is packed with things to do and places to eat. Plus, Newport is great for fishing and crabbing. Heading the other direction (South), it's only 5 miles to Waldport.

Perfect For Our Needs!

My wife and I rented this home during Thanksgiving week while babysitting our twin grandchildren while their folks worked. The home was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. We brought our dog with us and it was perfect because of a small fenced yard in front which Abby used and, of course, we picked up afterwards. There is a pretty nice view from the living room and you can just see the ocean through some trees at the state park just down the street. We hope to stay here again sometime in the future. Bookreaders--it's best to bring one of those clip-on booklights to assist you in your reading pleasure.
