Big Family Vacation - House was perfect for us... for our little ones, our parents and ourselves

We stayed at the height of the busy season and only have wonderful things to say about St. John and Riley's Retreat. The house was extremely convenient to what a visitor needs: the drive to the Starfish supermarket is 5 minutes; the drive to the ferry and the town is 5-6 minutes; the drive to Cinnamon Bay is about 10-12 minutes. We used all 5 bedrooms and the fact that the downstairs was separate from the upstairs was ideal for us. The house was exactly as pictured and described in the advertisement. Heidi was a terrific host. She met us at the ferry, took us to our car rental and then gave us a detailed tour of the home. Whenever we had a question or problem, we emailed her and got a response within an hour or so. When we left, she held our luggage while we had lunch in town and dropped our bags off at the ferry when we were ready to leave. She did everything she could to accomodate us. The views from the terraces are fantastic and we bar-b-q'd several times for lunch and ate on the terrace overlooking the harbor, st thomas and puerto rico in the distance. The pool/hot tub were great and we used the gym equipment on the pool level as well. We also made use of the outdoor shower. Heidi knew we had 2 small children and went out and provided a portable crib, as well as many beach toys for them. She also provided snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. With my wife, 2 children, 2 sets of grandparents and an uncle at the house, Riley's Retreat helped make our vacation full of terrific memories for many years to come. We would certainly return to Riley's Retreat.
