This home is situated on a 1 acre picturesque pine tree covered lot directly across the road on Simpatico Lake! It sits nestled in a quiet neighborhood of custom homes. Simpatico Lake Pine House features a wrap around covered porch with views of the lake just across the road. In the colder months it is heated by radiant in-floor heating with separate thermostats for each room and a gas fireplace in the main quarters. Wake up to the gorgeous views and abundant wildlife while sitting on the porch enjoying a cup of fresh coffee brewed by your very own Starbucks Verisimo coffee system!

The residence has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and comfortably sleeps 10 guests. The lower level has a Queen bed suite with private tub/shower. Upstairs is a full bathroom with tub/shower, and kids bedroom with log bunk bed (full over full). The master bedroom has a king size bed and private bath with large soaking jacuzzi tub and seperate shower. Just off the master bedroom is another bedroom with full sized bed and an office desk.

Enjoy fishing in the spring, summer, and fall on this private community lake. When the lake freezes over in the winter enjoy ice fishing and ice skating! Sledding is a must with plenty of hills to choose from.

Located roughly 20 miles from Historic Downtown Durango your entertainment and adventures are limitless. Durango is famous for its historic charm, small boutique shops, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, antique shops, train museum, and micro breweries, as well as many gourmet restaurants and eateries! The Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is at the end of main street and chugs into the heart of town! The train ride from Durango to Silverton is both scenic and relaxing (reservations recommended). A drive to Silverton is a must where one can take in the views of the gorgeous awe inspiring Rocky Mountains. The town of Silverton is historic and takes you through the past of what life was like for the miners who settled the town. Take a mine tour while your there! Catch the famous stage show Bar D Chuckwagon Show and Supper set against the gorgeous red rocks only an hour away. Take a beautiful scenic drive to Baker's Bridge where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was filmed on your way to Purgatory Ski Resort! Wolf Creek Ski Resort (most snowfall in Colorado, more than Aspen) is an hour away! For the adventurer, heli-ski Telluride Ski Resort or Silverton! Mesa Verde National Park is approx. 2 hours away and a must see while visiting. There are natural hot springs dotted all around this area. Choose between Trimble Hot Springs under an hour away, Pagosa Hot Springs under an hour away, or venture to the town of Ouray (Little Switzerland of the Rockies) where you can soak in the springs and climb to Box Canyon Falls! Telluride is just a little further drive should you want to continue your scenic driving adventure!

We had a great time in your wonderful home. It was so cozy and nice!! The area has lots to offer, and your home is so nice and quiet. It is "Perfect Colorado" . Our friends loved the house and our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife and the sledding. Thanks so Much for making our time so wonderful in your lovely house.

The home was perfect for our friends and family. The kids loved the bunk beds and the adults loved their bedrooms. The home was spotless and decorated so nicely! The beds were really comfortable. We absolutely enjoyed staying at your beautiful home. From the comfortable beds, beautiful decor, viewing the deer out the back windows, to the cold brisk walks by Lake Simpatico. We can't say enough about the wonderful time we had skiing at Durango Mountain Resort and the wonderful quaint restaurants in Durango as well as the hot springs in Pagosa Springs.
