Family Cabin Available For Rent During Summer Months

This cabin is owned by the Simmons family. They are not able to get away and enjoy their cabin as much as they would like, so they want to share it with other families who want to get away from the city and enjoy nature.

The Hooks and Sticks Cabin is located in a private setting in Necedah,WI. The cabin is located 1 mile from the boat dock near the Petenwell Lake Dam and 1 mile from the Woodbine Restaurant.

Cabin is about 5 miles away from the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge - a very special place. The refuge is a great spot for hiking, photography and bird watching. The refuge is well known for their work with Whooping Crane rehabilitation.

Hooks and Sticks Family cabin is an excellent place to stay for both family and fisherman!! The cabin has everything you need along with peace, quiet, and Whippoorwills. Fishing was good - 34 fish in about 15 hours total - mixed assortment of Walleye, Northern, Small-mouth, White Bass and a surprise Catfish. Thank you Terry and Sue!!! We definitely want to return for another peaceful weekend. Frank

"Dinner and a camp fire on a star studded night. Another WOW!... so that's what stars look like...we reveled in the beauty of seeing two shooting stars. Climbed the look out tower at the Petenwell Dam - amazing view."

"Started a camp fire and enjoyed the stars,much better than in the city. Girls were amazed as to how many stars they could see up north - saw four shooting stars!! :)"
