I stayed in this property for three nights in August with my family (5 of us, including 3 pre-teen/teen children). It was ideal for our purposes - a few days quiet break out of a longer trip of visiting relatives and staying in hotels. Jack Frost village is quiet in the summer, with perhaps 20% of the units occupied when we were there. The cool, mountain air was a relief from the heat wave much of the east was experiencing at the time.
The property is as described, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped, although we prepared mainly breakfasts and lunch in the house. The owners provided a list of local restaurants and shops, which was very useful. The local pizzeria was good, and we had a nice dinner at a German restaurant (Edelweiss) up highway 940 to celebrate a birthday.
We spent one day shopping at the Premium Outlets, about 15 miles away (teenagers...) and another making use of the pass to the facilities at Lake Mountain Club (swimming, fishing). Although you have to drive a few minutes to reach the club, it was ideal for keeping our kids active and happy.
The owners responded promptly to all our mails and provided useful information and advice. Couldn't ask for more -
If we pass through the area in the future, we'd definitely look to stay again.
