If you prefer the comfort and freedom of self-catering accommodation, this contemporary three-bedroom town house near central London could be just what you’re looking for. It has recently been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard and feels fresh, clean and spacious. You can start your day as early or as late as you wish. You can eat your meals at a time that suits you. After a hard day of sightseeing, you can enjoy a restaurant meal in one of the world class restaurants in central London or at one of the several local restaurants within a short walk of the property. Alternatively, you can enjoy a night in, eat a home-cooked meal and then put your feet up and relax in your home-away-from-home.

Location

The town house is ideally located in London’s Vauxhall district, just off the Albert Embankment of the River Thames. There is plenty to do and see in the local area and the property is so close to Central London you’re never far away from the sights and sounds of one of the best loved capitals in the world. Vauxhall tube station is around five to ten minutes walk from the property, and from there you can take the Victoria tube line to many famous London landmarks. If you feel like staying closer to home, then you’ll find the local shops, convenience stores, restaurants and bars, all within a few minutes’ walk of the property. Of particular note, there is a convenience store, the Jolly Gardener's public house which is a German Haste pub serving lunch buffets and some excellent German beer. There is also an excellent and reasonably priced bistro. See Vauxhall Restaurants for more information. A Tesco supermarket is nearby where you can stock up on supplies for meals at home.

If you stroll for just twenty minutes, following the riverbank on Albert Embankment, you’ll find yourselves at Westminster where the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben seem to rise majestically out of the river. Also within a ten minute walk of the property is London’s Imperial War museum and Lambeth Palace, home of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Very centrally suited and well equipped

The description of the house is accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, clean and well-maintained. The management provided good customer service. We will recommend this property to friends because it is a perfect place to stay for a group (5-6) of people. Within a 10 minutes walk you are at Thames embankment and close to many touristic attractions. Thera are some nice Pubs in the neighbourhood: The close by KT Indian Restaurant is awesome.

Fantastic Property in great area

My mother with her five friends stayed in the apartment for 7 nights in April-May 2013. This apartment is very nice for groups. Each had own bed-room, kitchen is fully equipped. This is a big, very clean and comfortable apartment which we liked very much. Location is great - 15-20 minutes to all sights walking. Going out of the city is also good - underground and bus stop is some minutes walking. Price is low as I think for such kind of apartment - this is really nice. Our recommendations.
Kremena is the most kind person I have ever met, very careful, she always in a contact if you need help, question or request and all was done in such a short time. She does everything for her guests - order taxi, cleaning house, repairing, whatever - she always cares guests. I was happy my mother stayed in this apartment and I found such a great manager as Kremena

Quite Lovely

We were met by an associate of Kremena who gave us a lovely tour/overview of the apartment. There was a binder with useful information that we found quite helpful. When we called Kremena she was always very helpful.

The apartment is well represented in the photos. It is large and easily accommodated the 4 of us (could have accommodated more). It is 3 stories. The first floor contains the amazing kitchen and a small bathroom. The kitchen was bright and clean and had everything we needed. The second floor contains a bedroom and a TV room, The third floor contains two bedrooms (one with a single bed and one with a double bed) and a bathroom with a shower. My children reported that the beds were comfortable; the double bed on the top floor was not very comfortable, but it was adequate. There is an outdoor space off the kitchen which I imagine would be lovely for outdoor meals. There is a table and some chairs in the shed for that purpose. In retrospect the only photos that were confusing were the photos of the river. When I saw those I had assumed that we would be close to the river and maybe have a river view. While the river may be close, it is not visualized from the apartment.

The location was on the south bank which was an easy trip to central London. The underground was about a 10 minute walk (we are fast walkers) to the Victoria Line. There is also easy access to the national rail (same location as the underground) which you can use to get to Windsor Castle or Lego Land. For travel within central London, we strongly recommend the double decker bus. They are a bit harder to figure out, but well worth it. There are several apps that help with identification of bus routes and you can get a central London bus map from the Vauxhall station (same place you get the underground and the national rail).

If you are tired of the city, we recommend a dinner at Gandhi's, a local Indian restaurant (about 10 minute walk). It is some of the best Indian food that we have ever had!

There are really no downsides to this apartment if you don't mind the extra 10-15 minutes to get to central London. Also, if you have a hard time with stairs, this apartment may be hard. But overall it is quite lovely.

Nice and Cosy House

We were greeted by a girl named Vania who is extremely friendly and was there very punctual to check us both in and out. Kremena's home is extremely nice and cosy and was definitely one of my highlights in London. Fits my family of 5 perfectly. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone, specially families travelling together.

From the apartment, the city centre within easy reach. The house is fully described on this website. We enjoyed it very well, it was very nicely decorated and clean. Contact with Kremena (the apartment manager) was very nice and reliable! We Germans are not used to high deposits, although we accept that a deposit is understandable and justified. I’m pleased to report that the deposit has been reliably and quickly returned to me! I can highly recommend Kremena to look after you. We like to come again!!!
