The barn is a complete, cozy cottage located on a beautiful, wooded 2 acres.

Enjoy complete privacy including a two person Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, queen size bed, complete kitchen (stocked with breakfast foods), covered porch with swing and gas grill.

A beautiful in ground swimming pool is located on the property. You are invited to swim, weather permitting.

There are no pets allowed. However, you can meet our small flock of laying hens and our rooster. We have fresh eggs daily.

The apple trees, grapes, cherries, pears and service berries are an invitation to the white tail deer to visit and partake daily. Bird watching is also a favorite sport.

Louisville area attractions are within 15 minutes of our property, including Churchill Downs, the KFC Yum! Center, 4th Street Live, Historic Old Louisville and the St. James Art Fair as well as an abundance of other wonderful attractions and events in our fabulous city.

We are so excited to offer America's Barn to be shared and enjoyed by our guests. It has been our dream for years to be able to share our gorgeous and unique property that we have owned for over 15 years. We hope you find your time with us to be relaxing and rewarding.

We love the convenience of this location. We are near ALL areas of interest and/or need: museums, sports venues ,fairgrounds, airport and medical center complex.

What makes this house unique

We are in a VERY convenient location but as you turn in the drive the metropolitan access is left behind and the rural beauty becomes the focus. There is complete privacy as well as the feel of "country" living.

The beauty of wildlife, fruit trees, and the sounds of chickens help you to feel very removed from the "city" life.

Bucket List Sucess!!!

Going to the Kentucky Derby had always been on my bucket list of things to do before I kicked the bucket. So my boyfriend and I started planning to attend our first derby this year. Marquetta and Jerry ensured that this trip was a Hugh Sucess!! Marquetta made sure every detail was taken care of, we could not have been more pleased. That is why we decided to stay an extra night at this wonderful cabin, and why we made reservations to return next year. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and want, from the fully stocked kitchen with fresh chicken eggs and breakfast items to the derby items that Marquetta had purchased for us. Can not say enough positive things about this trip! Thank you Marquetta and Jerry for the experience of a life time, can't wait to see ya'll next year.

A jewel of a place!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this lovely B&B! Honestly, I don't think the photos do it justice. It is much nicer than the photos. It was clean, cozy and very comfortable. I'd been working very long hours and wanted a little retreat to rest and this was perfect. What makes it special is the owner's attention to details. They had stocked it with wonderful breakfast food and snacks and those amazing eggs from the chickens. It was decorated for Christmas and felt so homey. It is those special touches that made us feel so welcome and cared for. Jerry and Marquette were wonderful hosts, and made us feel like neighbors or friends. I would definitely recommend it to friends and relatives and hope to stay there again in the future! The location is great - so close to the airport. Wishing them the very best!

Very Cozy!

We just recently enjoyed a week-long stay at this fabulous cottage...it is easily the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! The owners have impeccable attention to detail and are more than willing to do anything they can to make their visitors feel welcome! It was our first trip to Louisville, and it was so nice to "come home" each day after exploring the city. We will definitely stay with Jerry and Marquetta again if we ever make it back to Louisville!

Spent 7 wonderful, peaceful nights in America's Barn! The pictures really doesn't do it justice! Everything was so nice & so homey! And you couldn't ask for more gracious & accommodating hosts than Marquetta & Jerry! Not only did we get to enjoy a marvelous week, we feel like we made some new friends! If we have the opportunity to come back to Louisville in the future, we definitely want to stay here again!
