Double Dunes consists of one 4 1/2 bedroom villa and another 5 bedroom villa which are side by side. At Double Dunes, there are two of everything: two kitchens, two living rooms, two dining areas - you get the picture. And the location! you cannot stay any closer to the beach on Kiawah Island! Exit the rear of either villa and you find yourself on the boardwalk, about 50 yards from the beach!
Double Dunes' two villa arrangement provides incredible flexibility for your group. Try a younger person side and an older person side. Or try a quiet side and a noisy side. Or a bride's side and a groom's side. Stay near to each other and yet far enough apart to create some personal space and privacy.
Both villas have been lavishly remodeled, with hardwood floors, bead board wainscoting, granite countertops and quarry tiled bathrooms. Every bathroom is custom designed, including sculpted basins and high end fixtures.
The two third floor Master Suites, one in each villa, feature stunning ocean views, and one includes a private sundeck.
All full bedrooms have their own full bathroom and TV/DVD player. A small overflow bedroom accomodates one.
At Double Dunes, both living room, dining room, and kitchen complexes are open, airy, and overlook the beach. The two living rooms feature entertainment centers with flat screen TVs.
Both kitchens have granite counters, custom cabinets and are equipped with every modern convenience.

If having guaranteed tennis times are priorities, you should book a rental in a home that is managed by the resort.
