This fully equipped studio is one block away from the parmentier metro station on line 3. It is located at the 2nd level (third American) of a XVIII century building and the full renovation was completed in march 2011.
The studio consists of a main room with a full size comfortable queen size bed ( 160 * 200 cm or 64 * 80 inches ), a bathroom with massage shower, toilets and basin and a fully equipped kitchen. there are plenty of closets and a table for two. The studio is facing a tree planted square and is sound proof insulated, it is also equipped with a high quality silent air conditioning system
The apartment comes with free phone to 100 countries including North America and Australia, free WI-Fi, free cable TV.
The all-inclusive weekly rental fee covers quality linens and towels.
The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than fifteen minutes) to Le Marais. The metro station Republique which is a main metro hub with direct access to line 3, 5, 8,9 and 11 is only a 10 minutes walk. From republique due to this number of lines you can basically go anywhere in paris directly with no metro change. As an example, the eiffel tower which is on the other side of paris is only twenty minutes away with line 9. And you are only 15 minutes walking to the very center of Paris, chatelet.
The area is trendy and residential. The building is located on the rue oberkampf which is a very lively street with cafes and restaurants.. On tuesdays and fridays two blocks away there is a picturesque farmers market where you can buy all fresh produces.
There is a supermarket in the same block together with a butcher and a baker.

olivier renting apartment in paris is my full time activity
Owner/Manager purchased this condo in 2000
charming building with paved courtyard, trendy location
totally redone studio with all comfort and easy access to all amenities
We stayed here for five nights and found it suited all our needs. We are a young couple and found it really reasonably priced with all the necessary amenities plus some nice little extras such as dishwasher, washer/dryer, hair dyer and straightener.
The location was great, so many places to eat in the area and two grocery stores just a short walk away. The metro was a 2 minute walk and didn't take long to reach all the major tourist destinations.
The property was very clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately my partner was sick and bed bound for four of the days we were there but the bed was very comfortable and the wifi was fast.
While it is a small studio apartment it is great for short term stays.
My daughter and I spent a week in this apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it!! Metro was minutes away and we traveled to numerous sites throughout Paris. Olivier the manager met us within 10 minutes of our arrival, explained the apartment uses, was responsive to an issue with the bathroom and great to work with. The apartment looked exactly as pictured and was comfortable for 2 people and we made ample use of the kitchen. Street was lively at night and we enjoyed listening to the music from the clubs. A/C was extremely useful since the temperature climbed into the 80's during our visit. Overall I would recommend this to Apartment to anyone.
wonderful location. Metro stop just right down the street. Apartment is in lively part of town but at night when too loud, just close the window and use the AC if needed (we did not need it but just two nights). Very secure--have to pass through 3 security doors so felt very safe on our mother-daughter trip. There was a hairdryer and flat iron there as well (not advertised so may have been left) but with an American teen, it was nice to avoid using adaptors. Great grocery right near for eating in--kitchen has everything but oven + washer-dryer that we used once since we had already been in the country for a week. overall great experience--would highly recommend for 2 people comfortably-
This apartment was attractive, modern and great value. We enjoyed the location close to many cafes and good restaraunts. A bit away from central Paris but I think that is a good thing! The shower and drains, air con and kitchen facilities were all in great order, clean and working well....no odors like some apartments in Europe! The doors and gates were coded and keyed...seemed VERY secure. Olivier gave goodsuggestions for dinner and we especially enjoyed meals at the bistro, Astier. I am still thinking about the casserole of braised beef cheek! The area has many live music bars so attracts large numbers of young people from Thurs to Sat but when the large window was closed, the noise was not a problem. It was great crowd watching from the open window. My damage deposit was promptly returned the day after I left the apartment.
We rented and stayed in this cozy, neat, and super clean apartment for 5 nights. It was a terrific experience. Everything inside the apartment was modern despite the classic building itself. We enjoyed making simple breakfast in the morning and used the washer/dryer (actually a 2-in-1 machine) for laundry in the evening. If you travel only in Paris, there is no need to bring lots of clothes. Also, there are lots of shops, bakeries, and restaurants around. There is even a McDonald's and a supermarket in the same block----just very convenient. This place is not very close to those tourist spots, but this is a location that you can experience how Parisians live everyday. The subway station is just a block away, right by the McDonald's. With my wife and a little boy, I never felt anything unsafe in this area. We actually walked all the way to the Seine in the morning. While it was not a short walk, we definitely got to see a different side of Paris.
As others have mentioned, Olivier was very responsive via email, making things much earlier. On the day we arrived, he was sick and sent his friend (coworker or assistant?) over to give us keys. I forgot his name, but he was a very nice person. He helped us carry our heavy suitcase all the way to the third floor (or 2nd in France---BTW, no elevator in the building, but not really a problem for us). He explained to us everything in detail, so we actually could not find any more questions to ask during our 5-day stay. Indeed, there was a folder in the room that included all information we needed and some simple responsibilities of tenants. I had some trouble transferring the damage deposit to Olivier via PayPal the day we arrived. Paypal kept giving the error message. Olivier quickly let me pay it via VRBO using a credit card. He also refunded to my credit card while we were still on the plane flying back to the U.S.
The WIFI worked very well, quite fast actually. As we were told, phone calls back to the U.S. and some other countries were free of charge, though we did not try. One thing I found interesting was the way to lock the door. I think it was just quite different from American way for locks. The sturdy door and lock of the room, along with the three security doors on the 1st floor, just made us feel very safe.
Overall, we had great time in this apartment as well as in Paris. Given unreasonably expensive hotel rooms in Paris, this apartment is of great value and hard to pass it.
We loved the place on Rue Oberkampf and the price was right! The amenities were excellent--appliances, TV, wifi, telephone. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Unfortunately, we were sick during our stay, but it helped to stay in such a nice place. It was close to the metro stops, grocery and many restaurants. The room is located up two flights of stairs with no lift, though, so just be aware for luggage concerns. Although you could hear other residents going up/down the stairs & into/out of other apartments pretty well during the day, the noise was low/none at night. The traffic from the street was pretty constant day and night, but was drowned out fairly nicely with the fan from the air conditioner/heater on at night. All in all, it was a great place to stay, and we would definitely return!
