This relaxed holiday haven consists of a beautiful spacious 4 bedroom home, private pool set high in the privacy and peace of an established and exclusive street, nestled with huge melaleucas and palm trees dancing in the soft summer breeze and only a short stroll to Palm Cove's pristine white beach where you can feel the sand between your toes. Two fantastic outdoor dining settings, one overlooking the salt water pool and the other overlooking the rainforest in the front garden both catering for 8 persons. The perfect setting for el fresco dining at home complemented by a glass of chianti. One street from the beach, this home offers you absolute privacy for the perfect getaway and only 200mts to Palm Cove's luxury beach village.

This holiday home sleeps 8 persons plus cot for baby(no extra Charge for cot, change table, toys, high chair, stroller, toys, etc) if needed and is completely air conditioned with split systems, located on one of Palm Cove's best streets (very close to the Tavern) with only a short walk to resort facilities and el fresco dining that takes on a whole new meaning in Palm Cove. The ambience is wonderfully romantic with melaleucas illuminated against the tropical sky and torch flares flickering in the warm evening breeze. The home is completely tiled and has ceiling fans in each room for keeping you cool on hot balmy nights.

The house is very clean, neat and tidy. Tina greeted us on arrival and was more than happy to provide anything we needed.



Pool and house excellent with air con in every room, Foxtel, internet and phone access, 2 minutes from a beautiful beach and half way between cairns and Port Douglass - we would definatey stay here again.

We had an excellent holiday at Tranqila over Easter this year.



Palm Cove is an beautiful location, the beach is lovely and the atmosphere at the shops and multiple restaurants & bars was perfect.



The house itself is fantastic, the layout would comfortably and privately accommodate 3 adult couples. We stayed with 2 adult couples and 2 children and there was so much room. The air conditioning in every room made our stay so comfortable and we loved the attention to detail such as the quality of the linen and little things like the inclusion of heaps of beach towels and everything we could need in the kitchen.



The children's toys and essentials were great, so convenient to have everything we needed and not have to bring it along. Everything you would want to have a fantastic time in the pool too - the pool was bigger than we expected and we spent so much time in there, it even got shade at all the right times of the day.



Tina was a charming host, leaving champagne and snacks for our arrival and even a huge packet of Easter eggs for the kids to hide. She also made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect (and it was).



Thanks for a great holiday, we would all definitely recommend this private, comfortable and very clean house in such a fantastic location.

Stayed for a week in the first week of February and could not be more impressed.Was greeted by the Owner Tina who had beer and nibbles in the fridge ready to go, she could not have been anymore hospitable.

The house, well the pictures tell the whole story, very well furnished with air cons in every room which you definitely need.The pool area was fantastic with the only suggestion we made was that the outdoor area needed fans at night due to the heat, but overall you cannot be disappointed.
