Sabina on Little Myers provides a sophisticated base for exploring Geelong, the Bellarine and the Great Ocean Road offering privacy with all the comforts of home. Sabina's greatest charm is her location; from the front door it's only a short stroll to all of Geelong's inner-city and waterfront attractions (including churches for brides). For the visiting professionals, the hospitals, courts and offices are all within walking distance, making Sabina ideal as a midweek week work base, or a year-round getaway for those wanting to escape work.

PARKING

Off street parking is available in the backyard for up to three cars with under cover parking and a single garage. Two hour street parking is also avaialble from Mon-Sat 9.00am to 5.30pm and all day parking Sunday.

ACCESS

You can arrive at any time after the check in time and let self in via a code to the key safe.

There are times when we can arrange an earlier check in or later check out depending on other bookings at the time. Please feel free to make a request at the time of your enquiry/booking.

Bookings of more than three guests will attract a cleaning fee of $80

Easy payment by CREDIT CARD (Visa or Mastercard). A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking and balance on arrival.

Guestbook comments from the manager

It was October 2014 during the Blue Mountains (NSW) bush fires where over 200 homes burnt (our home was saved by our local and many other Fire Brigades that came to the region). As a mother I thought that we needed a fab holiday. Sabina on Little Myers lived up to our hopes. (Sabina was something to look forward to past the devestation of our community). Helen has made Sabina a beautiful home away from home with all the comforts from home and many unexpected delights. For example reading material for all the family members, easter eggs and a few basics in the kitchen for hungry teenaged boys!



Location fantastic! close to shops, town and attractions. Next time we visit we will bring Max the wonder dog, even if we need to pay adult air fare. What a wonderful place, Geelong, we love you! Thank you Helen, thank you Sabina, you are a gem!

Wonderful stay

We spent two nights at Sabina and wish we could hVe stayed longer. The house was immaculately clean and we had a great time. As there was six of us this option was way better than getting three hotel rooms. Helen pays attention to all the small details and provided all essentials even a nice bowl of chocolates. Would thoroughly recommend Sabina.

Geelong is Victoria's largest provincial city and is now a destination in its own right. Only 75km from Melbourne and the gateway to the Bellarine Peninsula and the fabulous Great Ocean Road. Wrapped around the corner of Corio Bay, the waterfront promenade is adorned with colourful woodden bollards and a century-old carousel, Cunningham Pier and quay, flanked by gardens and playgrounds which is overlooked by bustling cafes and restaurants. At the eastern end there's a sandy beach and enclosed swimming enclosure with plenty of picinic spaces. A major sailing event is held every year, Australia Day weekend hostsing the Festival of Sails not only great for sailing enthusiasts but the whole family including music, stalls, food and fireworks. Geelong also holds many cycling and matharon events. Eastern Park, the Botanic Gardens boast a dramatic new extension to its collection of old and rare trees and plants. The adverturous type may enjoy sailing, fishing, a bay cruise, a ride on a Harley Davidsosn or a jet boat ride. There are bkes and mopeds for hire, or the family train, running along the waterfront to Eastern Beach.

Also worth visiting are the bluestone National Wool Museum, Old Geelong Gaol, Geelong Art Gallery and Maritime Museum. As well as the central business district, you'll find shopping, arts and crafts and dining precincts in Pakington Street, Belmont and Highton.

Stretching around the eastern coastine of Port Phillip Bay, the Bellarine Peninsula is studded with popular seaside villages such as Portarlington and Ocean Grove, award wining wineries and top-class golf courses. Geelong and Bellarine region has more than 20 wineries producing cool- climate chardonnay, pinot noir, shiraz and pinot girs; some have opened cafes with a vineyard or sea views. Just to mention a few to visit: are: Oakdene Vineyards,Restaurant and Cellar Door, Jack Rabbit Vineyard, Leura Park Estate and Scotchmans Hill.

The elegance and old-world charm of Queenscliff is dominated by the towered splendour of the 1880's hotels. Once a sleepy fishing village is now a fashionable holiday resort. and only 20 minutes drive from Geelong. Queenscliff is compact enough to explore on foot, with plenty of opportunities to find a congenial spot for coffee and cake, a glass of wine and a snack or leisurely meal. Queenscliff has a thriving arts and crafts community whose works- many with a seacape or maritime theme - you will find on display and for sale in local galleries.

At the start of the Great Ocean Road - 30 minutes drive from Geelong - is bustling Torquay and its world-renowned beaches. Most famous is Bells Beach, home of the Rip Curl Pro, international surfing event with more than 50 years of history. If you want to catch the action, it is held over Easter.

Beyond Torquay along the Great Ocean Road you come to other little villages like Anglesea, Airey Inlet ,Lorne and Apolo Bay. All have their own character and you'll never get tired of the view - have your camera ready. You will never run out of things to do. You can enjoy the beaches, rockpools, surfing, skydiving, coastal walks along cliffs, playgrounds, horse-riding, forest walks, waterfalls and wildlife. Highly recomend you visit the Airys Inlet Light House, The Otway Fly (Cool climate rainforest) and the historic rock formation The 12 Apolstles.
