Gorgeous Lakefront Home with Spectacular Views & Covered Dock

Having grown up in this area but now living in the lowcountry of South Carolina we looking for a great home on the lake for our final week of summer. As a result we rented this home along with another family the first week of August. The house had plenty of room and the kids loved the bunk beds down stairs. We spent our days on the water and cooked in almost every night. The kitchen is incredible and equipped with very nice appliances. One of our favorite spots was the huge scren porch which has a large dinning table and great gas grill. We live on the coast so the cool mornings on the porch looking over the lake and the mountains was very nice. The dock is suitable for most boats and and is located in a great ski cove on the lake. We brought our own boat and had no problems as we left it in the water all week. This really is a fantastic home and the owners are very honest and nice people who were a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a great home on the lake to make great memories then this is the place. We were sad to leave but we hope to be back again this coming summer for another week.

Six of us enjoyed a very pleasant week in this very spacious and clean house. All of us would highly recommend it to friends. As previous reviewers mentioned, the kitchen has everything you could ever wish for. The outdoor eating and grilling area just off the kitchen was a wonderful place to dine in the evening. The August heat was a bit much for daytime dining outside. The water level was getting low so in mid-august a deep draft boat would have to dock outside the covered slip. This was our first trip to Keowee and indeed it is a very beautiful and upscale lake. The Market at Keowee has a very nice little sandwich cafe and plenty of groceries about 15 minutes away, otherwise dining out is a 25 minute excursion. We will be back!

We stayed at this fantastic home for a family get-a-way with our two sons and their girlfriends. This house is everything advertised and more - truly amazing. The gourmet kitchen is so well equipped we did not eat out a single meal. The screened porch offers relaxation and a huge grill. Everything about the home is luxury in the midst of a secluded area. The view of the lake is gorgeous with the sunset adding to the natural beauty. There is plenty of room for adults and college kids to relax together and separate. We truly enjoyed the home, and the owners were absolutely wonderful to work with through the entire experience. We will definitely come back!
