This beautiful place was totally designed and decorated during the last months of 2012.
It is a small but very cozy duplex (35 m2), located next to the very famous and visited Park Güell!
It is located on the high part of Barcelona city, on a wonderful hill where you may enjoy the views over the city.
The building itself is located on a small hill: from the street you have the entrance; on one side there is the studio entrance on the other side, going down the stairs you will reach the communal terrace, which is to be shared with other studio and with the main house of the property.
The Park Güell studio is divided over two floors; the entrance floor features an open-plan living-dining area with fully-equipped kitchen, with large windows offering natural light and panoramic views of the city.
You will also find the stairs that take you down to the lower floor that features the double bedroom and bathroom (with walk in shower), a spacious wardrobe and more windows, the truly soul of this cozy and sunny place!!There is a small private terrace on this studio, where the warm Mediterranean sun can be soaked up while having your tea or coffee!!
It is equipped with kitchen, heating, TV, Internet connexion (wireless), etc.;
The Neighborhood:
The area surrounding the studio is popular with tourists because of its proximity to the Park Güell.
If you are one of those travelers that believe that the best way to get to know a new city is by mixing with its people, eating on its local and authentic bars and restaurants, shopping on its shops, learning their customs and traditions...this is the best place to be!! You will fell and live just like a local more!!
Transportation:
The best way to reach the city center from the Park Güell studio is by bus: the number 24 ,with a frequency of every 8-10 minutes takes about 20 minutes to reach the old part of Barcelona as the El Born, The Gotic ,the beach. Not only that: you may enjoy a truly tourist route using the bus nº 24,as it passes right on Paseig de Gracia, where you may see the very famous La Pedrera or Casa Batlló!
There is also the option of the metro:the L5 (line blue, with importante stops like Sagrada Familia, Diagonal or Sants estacio-the main tran station of Barcelona), it is at just 800 m from the apartment!
As you will be right there (there is an entrance at 5 minutes), you cannot miss the Park Güell.
From the studio, in about 10 minutes, you can reach the very know neighborhood of Gracia, one of the most fashionable places in the city, full of restaurants, bars and little Plazas.
