This luxurious townhouse was completely remodeled in 2012, and you’ll be one of the first guests to experience its brand-new upgrades. We spared no expense when outfitting the interior, and every detail was considered—from the bamboo flooring, to the designer staircase, to the frame less glass shower.
If you’re someone who delights in the little things, you’ll love this townhouse. With its clean lines and chic decor, it truly feels more like a high-end hotel than a vacation rental. Dramatic red accents on the first floor will energize you for the day ahead, while subdued grays, greens and whites create a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere upstairs.
The townhouse boasts three sumptuous bedrooms, including two master bedrooms with queen-size beds and a third bedroom with a double bed. The upstairs master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom that features his and hers sinks, a walk-in Italian shower, and a separate toilet. The downstairs master bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. There’s another half bathroom near the downstairs guest bedroom with a door to the master bathtub and shower.
Other amenities include a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and rich wood cabinets, free Wi-Fi, a large water heater (to accommodate multiple showers), a covered patio, a flat-screen TV, a Vitamix, plush leather couches, central air conditioning, a new front-load washer and dryer, pool access and complimentary parking for one car.
In addition to all this, downtown Austin is literally at your doorstep. We’re just one block from the Austin Convention Center, two blocks from the Warehouse District and Sixth Street, and within walking distance of 100-plus restaurants and bars. If you are attending South by Southwest (SXSW), we couldn't be in a more central location. At the same time, we’re located on a quiet side street, so once you walk into the townhouse, you’ll feel a world away from the noise and crowds of the city.

I love this place. It's where I live. You can't beat the location and everything is in fantastic shape - I spent 5 years remodeling it and nothing was left untouched.
I never drive on the weekends - there is so much to do around here.
Beautiful, modern condo in a great location right in heart of downtown Austin. Chad (the owner) was a great host. He was very responsive to our e-mails before our arrival and even met us in person when we arrived. Plus the condo had great amenities including a washer/dryer, pool, extra air mattresses, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the Railyard Condos over 7 times and this is by far the nicest condo we have had the pleasure of staying in! The owner Chad is amazing and provided outstanding service to us, was extremely responsive and even shipped a charger back to us that we left behind. We will definitely stay here ever time we come to Austin for sure! The unit is immaculate and well appointed! You can't go wrong!

Very well located and very well organized modern loft condo in downtown Austin. 5 min walk to Sixth Street, 15-20 mins to various other destinations (Rainey/East Austin). Relatively quiet area despite being in the vicinity of the train station and the convention center. Complex/neighbors are quiet too despite being mostly young(ish) people. There is a secured entry for everyone who is staying to use, which was a lot better than worrying about keys.
Aside from the location, another major positive is that this unit is set up really well. Anything you need is there. Laundry, modern kitchen with everything you need to cook (except for food of course), clean bathrooms etc. Really nice master bath. Nice TV/AV setup. Good WiFi. Off-street parking. A balcony with a grill, plus a little pool in the complex. Lots of cool little details within the unit - everything was easy to find and it had just enough character, not antiseptic like a hotel but not overwhelming either.
The owner (Chad) is a great guy. He was very responsive to all of our needs, including answering random questions etc.
My only caution is that if you are with a larger group (e.g. closer to the listed capacity), you should know that it's not a HUGE place. I doubt this would be an issue for most big groups - if you're there to visit Austin, you'll be out visiting Austin, and using the unit for sleep/relaxing here and there. But if you were with a group of 6+ and each person wanted their own vast personal space, then you might keep in mind that the number of proper bedrooms is only 3 - so all else either double up in the beds or sleep on the airbeds provided by Chad (which were really nice and perfectly comfortable). However, if it were three couples, you'd be very comfortable, because you could share all the beds.
No elevator (or maybe we just didn't find it?) Unit is on third floor. Wasn't a problem for us but just be forewarned.
Very classy place in the heart of downtown just blocks away from where all the action is. If i come back to Austin, I will definitely stay here again. Chad took great care of us.
