About Lisa M Charest

Greetings! I grew up on Pass-a-Grille but I now live in downtown St. Petersburg where my daughter goes to school. I work full-time daily and have these rentals as my side passion. I compete in triathlons (swimming, running and bicycling) and have completed 5 Ironman races. We try to live simply by enjoying all the wonderful activities in our area such as the Dali museum, Ft De Soto- rated 1 beach in the world, bicycling on our 80 mile bike path, and windsurfing. Our next adventure is to learn to Stand-up-Paddle a popular activity in our area. I lived for awhile in NYC, CT (Fairfield county) and NY (Westchester County) during graduate school and for ten years I lived in the Northeast until I returned home to FL. I hope you enjoy your stay!

Lisa M Charest purchased this townhome in 1970

Why Lisa M Charest chose St Pete Beach

I love this beach, & I love this house. I personally redid most of the place myself. We lived there for a while as it is such a wonderful area, however daily demands called me away from the beach so I chose to make life easier and move closer to my daughters school. The beach house is within driving distance to my home, its easy to get to from the airport and an easy day trip to adventures in downtown St Pete, Tampa or Orlando. The best part of this beach house though is the peace that it brings to those who live there, the shelling, walking on the beach or just listening to nature. I look forward to moving back in a few years but for now I invite you to live in this beautiful setting and enjoy the comfort of Pass A Grille Beach.

Even if you only stay for a week you will leave with sunsets on your mind and the horizon and open air in you heart. Enjoy!

What makes this townhome unique

Breakfast nooks. like the Seahorse Restaurant, are enticing and quaint and only blocks away. Cute shops and boutiques run along 8th Ave, one of the smallest shopping streets in the US, and are made for strolling along. Pass a Grille Beach is mostly a residential and very quiet beach. It is perfect for a life made for walking, rollerblading, cycling or swimming. The beach house is only a few steps from our beach trolley stop and the trolly can take you to wherever you want to go.. or you can just stay, enjoy the Sea Spray, the sea grapes and the local restaurants as they entice all who come to this area. Enjoy the local craftsman shop, Nancy Markoe Gallery, for local pottery or jewelry to take home. Above all enjoy the sunset and the sunrise as on a peninsula water is all around to reflect the suns rays and shine with warmth on each glorious day.

Little slice of paradise

  • 5 of 5

Just finished a month on Pass a Grille in this great cottage. It has everything you need. The owner has it set up extremely well. Very short walk to the beach and short walk to area restaurants. Lisa was very easy to work with and very helpful during our stay. Most of the people staying nearby in other rentals of Lisa's were repeat visitors. I will be coming back to stay again and again too.

Little slice of paradise

  • 5 of 5

I planned this vacation for my niece's college graduation gift. She picked this place because it just looked quaint and beachy. And she was right. The pictures are right on. We fell in love with the place as soon as we walked in the door. Very close walk to the beach and canal. We put plenty of miles on the bikes everyday. Had a great time exploring the area. We boosted the economy in PAG. Some of our favorites; Sea Critters, the little ice cream place, taco place next to it, Hurricanes for margaritas on the rooftop, Paradise Grille food and the sunsets. Merry Pier has great fresh seafood and catch the ride there to Shell Island. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

The owner has it all under control. Everything you need in a very comfortable apartment with a huge cottage feel. Yes, it is small, but works great for 2 people. The place is just perfect. Would love to stay there again.

We didn't need a car, so we turned our rental car in. The parking does get a little crowded if everyone has a vehicle there. Small vehicles work the best.

Couldn't have picked better

  • 5 of 5

We could not have picked a more perfect beach rental. Pass a grille is just lovely- an unspoilt, friendly, beautiful area with just the most perfect beach. The beach house is literally two minutes walk, if that, from the beach. Lisa, the host, provides beach towels, umbrellas, beach chairs.. Everything you can think of for the short stroll down. The house itself is beach style, set off a lovely quiet residential street. It is small but perfectly sized for our group of two adults and a child. The house is furnished nicely, the bed is so comfortable, as is the sofa bed and Lisa really has thought of everything.. weber bbq, washer, dryer, bikes, lots of kitchen equipment..There is alot of hidden storage space for clothes and suitcases.. We felt so at home here.. Nice and quiet and yet only a walk or two minute car ride to great seafood restaurants, cafes, art galleries, boat trips and the like. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Holiday!

  • 5 of 5

The beach house W was a great little place! It's exactly like you see in the pictures, big enough for 2 people. Super clean and had everything you would need, pots/pans, coffee, blender, etc and a Webber bbq (which we used quite a bit). Used the bikes all the time exploring the little roads in between all the houses, took a little getting used to the pedal brakes. The owner Lisa is extremely nice and very helpful. You have to check out the local meat market, Shaner's when you're there, that's where we got all of our bbq supplies. Only one small thing, the steps to the unit were a little steep, but that is minor. We are coming back here for our vacation next year, but will be staying 2 weeks instead of just one!

Perfect for me!

  • 5 of 5

I came down to Florida to get away & I needed personal time. My Wife was from St Pete & she passed away on 2/21/13 two months after my Mother passed & needless to say I needed time to collect my thoughts. I was impressed with how clean the house was and also the privacy which was what I was looking for. Each morning I walked out to the beach and took a two mile walk up past the Don, I watched a school of approximately two dozen small stingray swim up and down the shoreline, it was soothing and interesting. This end of the beach is more private, less crowded and I enjoyed that plus everything I needed for the beach was at the house. I got to spend time with my wifes family and yet have my own privacy. They told me the best margaritas on the beach were at Sea Critters which is just around the corner and they were right! Perfect place for peace and quiet, to get away and relax, on the small side but romantic. Lisa was fantastic to work with and I have no doubt I will be back in the near future! Enjoy!!
