Make this your home base in the Texas Hill Country. There are two queen beds, four twin beds, and a Tempurpedic queen sized sofa bed. There is also a baby alcove with a Pac and Play. The house has WiFi, a DVD player and cable TV with a 50 inch flat screen. It has a fully equipped kitchen, large living room and outdoor patios on two and a half acres.

I have lived in the Texas Hill Country area for over 25 years. To me, it is the most beautiful part of Texas. Someplace Special Guest House is only a few miles from where I live so I get to enjoy it often.

Why Rae Dollard chose Dripping Springs

When I found this house I kept saying that it was 'Someplace special. The name just stuck. The house is very attractive, comfortable and roomy. It is located on two and a half acres full of trees and wildlife. Birds and deer are plentiful and you can observe them from several outdoor sitting areas.

What makes this house unique

This house is very close to town and situated near some of the most interesting places to visit in Texas. There are many local wineries, breweries, art galleries, shops and restaurants. You can keep as busy sightseeing as you would like or just spend a couple of days relaxing in a beautiful environment.

This house is so cute and comfortable. It is decorated with lots of art and has a great yard and wonderful places for sitting and relaxing. It is clean and newly updated. Great restaurants down the road. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect place for a family getaway

We stayed for a weekend for a family get together and to celebrate our daughter's 1st birthday. The house was the perfect size for us. (10) 7 adults and 3 kids. The layout was good too, however both bathrooms are accessible only through bedrooms. The lot is beautiful, and the weather was too. The house was clean, and the owner was very nice and thoughtful. She got us a box of goodies from a local bakery thyme and dough I believe. It was delicious. We hope to go back sometime.

The house beautiful and has plenty of space, which would be ideal for a family get-together or wedding party. My husband and I live in Austin, but stayed here just to get away for the weekend, but wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in the Far Away Places room and loved sleeping in the canopy bed. There were also plenty of sitting areas in the master bedroom for reading, which was nice. The owner was also very sweet and left a basket of yummy home-made muffins for us to munch on. We will definitely recommend this place to all of our relatives who come to visit us!
