South Yarmouth House Rental Photos and Description

5 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10

Immaculate house in South Yarmouth with the direct access to the SeaView Beach- the warmest Ocean waters on the Cape, minutes from restaurants, shopping and attractions, Central A/C, free Internet!

Fully renovated, large, sunlit, well equipped home is ready for your arrival - the house is full of amenities and is suitable for either families or couples vacationing together. Open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze! Our vacation home features a rare combination of bedrooms - there is one bedroom with queen size bed, one bedroom with two twin beds and one bedroom with full size sleeper on the first floor, and one bedroom with king size bed and one bedroom with 3 twin beds on the second floor, accommodating up to 10 people comfortably. The expansive fireplaced living room, the formal dining room and two bedrooms offer spectacular ocean views. The brand new kitchen is open to the dining room and living area and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave with the convention oven, dishwasher, oven, and cook top.

Crisp fresh bed linens (high thread 100% cotton), fluffy bath and beach towels, beach umbrellas, and all cookware/glassware/dinnerware – all included for your convenience.

Our House is directly facing the beautiful Nantucket Sound SeaView Beach, which is a part of the uninterruptable chain on the beaches over 3 miles long. You will enjoy a wide stretch of clean sand and dunes, lovely warm waters, many activities (including fishing off the pier) there. There are lifeguards, restrooms, showers, snack bars, kid’s playgrounds on these beaches to facilitate family outings. The Skipper restaurant, well-known for its awards winning chowder and lobster and delicious ice cream, is within 5 minutes of the leisurely walk of the house. Just a quick 5 minute drive to Route 28 will take you to numerous restaurants and bars (including the famous Captain Parker’s), supermarkets and a variety of shops. There are 2 miniature golf courses, arcade & bowling place, Ryan Family Amusement Center, ZooQuarium, two golf courses (Blue Rock and Bass River) etc within short distance of our home.

The house is centrally located, so you can explore the Cape in each direction, with every town boasting artist's studios, museums, galleries and craft shops. A favorite among area sight-seeing stops is the Cape Cod National Seashore--a stretch of preserved natural beach where picnicking and guided tours are offered. Departing from Hyannis is a scenic tour aboard the Cape Cod Railroad. The two-hour tour passes cranberry bogs, salt marshes, the seacoast, and Cape Cod Bay and Canal. You will enjoy a tour of Cape lighthouses. There are eight working lighthouses on the Cape, mile-for-mile one of the largest concentrations of working lighthouses in the world. Catch a Duck tour, a perennial favorite with adults and kids! Between April and October, BE SURE to go on a whale-watching cruise.

We supply our guests with such amenities as high quality bed linen, bath towels, paper products, soap, shampoo, shower gel, laundry supplies, beach towels, beach umbrellas and chairs, all at no extra charge. The kitchen is fully stocked. We provide tea, coffee, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cooking utensils (including pots, pans, bowls etc), glassware, dinnerware, grill, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, patio furnishings, grill and propane for the grill etc.

Our quests from Boston wrote in our in-house Quest book:

'Perfect House for summer and winter vacations!

We spent one week at the end of August and one week in December in this beautiful house with the unbeatable location on the Nantucket Sound Sea View Beach. We love this House! It MORE than met our expectations. In reality the house is better than in the listing... Beds, beddings, linen, bath/beach towels- new and very good quality. The kitchen is brand new, very well equipped, granite counter top, microwave with conventional stove - pleasure to cook! The house is VERY comfortable, spotlessly clean and location is just fantastic – less than one minute, and you are on the beach! The house is also close to very good restaurants end entertainment. We can highly recommend Skipper (just 5 min walk of the house), the Yarmouth House, Captain Parker's pub.

If you like to run swimming after waking up (even before breakfast) in the blue, warm water, stroll along the shore, collect beautiful shells and enjoy morning sun - this house is for you! You don't need a car, you don't need to carry umbrellas, beach chairs (which are provided by owner) etc. to the beach if you don't plan to spend there several hours. You can be back to YOUR house any minute...

The house is conveniently located, very good start point for the daily trips. We went to Nantucket, Provincetown, the Cape Cod National Seashore, Whale-watching cruise, Pirate's Cove mini-golf, Zooquarium...

Our stay in December was also very enjoyable. We went to the beach - sunny days, mild weather, birds, schells, beatiful sunsets... Our favorite restaurants were open and offered delicious meals. The fireplace, games, books, talks, cooking, shopping, antiquing (famous glass)- we were busy every day! But we found the time to listen the MET opera at the historical Cape Cinema known for the largest in the U.S. and one of only five murals Kent did in his lifetime. Also, we didn't miss the magical journey on the Polar Express!

Alex and Val, you are very lucky to have a nice home like yours, and many thanks for share it!

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this BEACH House to anyone - you will have a fantastic time!'

Great rental experience!

  • 5 of 5
Great rental experience! We were a group of three moms and seven homeschooled kids (age 9-14) who used the place for the last week in September. It was plenty of space and accommodated our group very nicely. This home was very well-maintained and very well-equipped, and Alex (the owner) was exceptionally responsive to both e-mail and phone. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into making sure that the home is clean and comfortable and well-supplied. I could have packed half of what I took if I had realized how many different things would be provided by the owners: full soap dispensers, dish/dishwasher/laundry detergent, wax paper/foil/plastic wrap, basic condiments and cooking ingredients, beach chairs, sand toys (and boogie boards I think, although we brought our own) - the list could go on and on. The gas grill is large and there was a full spare tank of propane available. And there was a ton of brochures and magazines about the area on the tables in the living room. The owners are clearly committed to giving guests a great experience, start to finish.

Just some extra info on the layout of the place ... Upstairs is the very large master bedroom with king bed which has great windows looking out to the water. The upstairs bathroom is off the hallway (not off the bedroom). Also upstairs is a bedroom with three twins. Downstairs, off the dining room, is the queen bedroom and the bedroom with two twins. The fifth bedroom is immediately inside the door to the deck/parking area; it has a full-size futon that fits quite snugly into half of the room. The dining room table is very large and easily sat 10. The WiFi was reasonable, although we had to reset the modem several times.

Other things that might be helpful to know ... We didn't realize that Sea View Beach and the surrounding area is know for being very calm (i.e., no waves). But I guess the Cape (except maybe out on the National Seashore areas) isn't known for great waves. But we had the whole beach area completely to ourselves, and the kids had a great time playing in the sand (pretty good for building). We also enjoyed walking the full length of the beach from river to river; as another reviewer noted, there is even a little playground area less than a five-minute walk down the beach (or road). Also, it's worth noting that in just a ten minute drive, you can be to the start of the Cape Cod Rail Trail (and a bike rental place) or the Swan Pond River (and a kayak rental place).

Perfect Beach House Vacation

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at this wonderful beach house for a week. The description is accurate in every way and the house was even better than described. Everything was immaculate, well thought out, and in excellent condition. There is a back yard with small deck for outdoor grilling, eating, and relaxing. The outdoor furniture is nice, with plenty of seating. The property is well-maintained and neat. Since we were there in October, the summer crowds were gone. The weather was mild and we enjoyed walks on the beach every morning and afternoon, right across the street from the house. You could not get much closer to the beach. Most days, we had the beach completely to ourselves; very quiet and relaxing. There were many good restaurants in the area open to choose from, and we had no problem finding places to eat. There are two Dunkin Donuts a very short driving distance from the house. Regarding the house, it was very roomy and comfortable. Since we are two adults, we used only one bedroom, the master bedroom on the second floor. The large picture windows face the beach and we loved this room. The bed was very comfortable and linens in the house are good quality and in good condition. The owners, Alex and Valentina, thought of everything! The bathrooms have various toiletries for guests to use. The kitchen is large, modern, and has every appliance and tool you can think of. There is a large supply of dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. The owners thought of everything when putting together this kitchen. The living room is large, comfortable, and has a huge flat-screen TV with cable. We enjoyed everything about this house and had a wonderful week here. Alex, the owner, was very easy to work with every step of the way. He replied to emails immediately, starting with our initial inquiry. He and his wife obviously pay attention to every detail to make the guests comfortable. It's a plus that they live in the area and are able to attend to any concern that may arise. It was a pleasure to stay in their home and have such wonderful vacation there. We hope to stay here again in 2014 and definitely recommend it.

OUR SECOND GLORIOUS TIME HERE

  • 5 of 5
This is the second time we have rented this amazing house and we plan to come back in 2014. It is the only thing that makes the close of our week here bearable.
I had two couples in one night and we all had adequate privacy. We watched the World Series Sox game by the fire one night and then enjoyed beautiful sea breezes the next day: nice weather even on Nov. 1 to walk the beach just across the street!
We also had day time visitors. People love to visit here.
Yarmouth is central to fantastic day trip destinations.
There are too many good restaurants in the area to mention, but we love the kitchen here so we didn't mind cooking in. We had lobster from a local market last night.
If you are even thinking about renting this home, go for it!

Wonderful place for a vacation

  • 5 of 5
It's a lovely place for a vacation. Less than a hundred yards away from the beach and within walking distance of a little park with swings etc where children can play if they don't want to swim. Well equipped bedrooms with TV and internet connections and a well stocked kitchen and a grill outside. We had a great time and did not even bother to eat out as it was a breeze to cook in. Very comfortable and close enough to the beach to walk around even late in the night We definitely intend to stay here again.

Spectacular rental

  • 5 of 5
What a week we had at this spectacular rental. First, we planned on eating out much of the time, but the outside grille and fully updated kitchen lured us into eating in more often than intended.
The house is large enough to assure privacy for those families and friends sharing the rental.
alex and Val are most eager to please and have provided all one needs for a most relaxing vacation.

The Cape Cod lies south of Boston on the East Coast of the United States.

In the mid-19th century Cape Cod became a popular summer vacation destination for wealthy families living in Boston and Providence. Today Cape Cod is the premier vacation resort in New England.

Cape Cod is the place for wide, sandy beaches with beautiful dunes, lighthouses, sea captains’ homes, fishing villages, seafood (particularly oysters, clams, and lobsters), cranberries, and numerous recreational opportunities.

Cape Cod offers many beautiful sandy beaches for you to enjoy. Beaches on the Cape Cod Bay north side may have cooler water temperatures than the warmer waters of the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound.

Cape Cod tests all public bathing beach waters. Monitoring results from previous seasons indicate exceptional water quality on Cape Cod, and the Cape Cod National Seashore beaches are part of the Blue Wave Campaign for quality.

Water sports are very popular on the Cape. Canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, swimming - find the best way to make your perfect day! Perhaps, you will take a whale watching excursion, enjoy a few hours of beach combing, and go fishing by your own or on a chartered cruise.

Cape Cod is a unique place for nature lovers, bird-watchers, hikers and whale watchers, sailors and surf casters. In 1961 a significant portion of the east-facing Atlantic coast of Cape Cod was made part of the Cape Cod National Seashore by President John F. Kennedy. Large portions are open to the public.

Although the Cape experiences a tourist explosion each summer, Cape Cod is virtually a year-round resort. No matter the season, Cape Cod beaches can always be walked, the bike trails enjoyed, and golf courses played.

The geography of Cape Cod resembles a flexed arm that thrusts out into the Atlantic Ocean. It owes its origin to glaciers that were active in the area. Over time, these glacier deposits became reshaped by waves and nearby ocean currents. Cape Cod is divided into a number of different sections. Each section or town on the Cape has something unique about it – natural beauty, the arts, history and recreational pursuits. The Cape is about 70 miles long and is often subdivided into six main regions: Upper-Cape, Mid-Cape, Lower-Cape, Outer-Cape and the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Our Houses are located in the Mid-Cape with the south facing beaches of Nantucket Sound - the warmest waters on Cape Cod!
