Cabin Cove (Llama/Alpaca/Goat) Farm in Asheville

The landscape here is just breathtaking. We love the Leicester area for that reason. The rolling hills make such interesting and stimulating views and scenes, especially with the mountain silhouette in the distance. One can be out in the country while just a stones throw from the city center.

We felt moving to this location was the best of all worlds. When we want to jog on over to Waynesville, we go the back road and is there is 20-25 minutes. When we need to go to the airport we are only 25 minutes away. When we want to go anywhere really, we are right in the center of it all and it's just about the same distance - Hendersonville, Maggie Valley, Skiing, and so on.

There's a creek that runs through the edge of the property that is refreshing to soak your feet in or let your pup jump into on hot days.

We let the goats out to munch on the grass around the farm. They're so cute to watch outside the fencing. They act like they are doing something mischievious, a perfect goat feeling to have.

We have these really great Biltmore tickets that we sell to our guests. We have partnered up with Biltmore Estate and doing so allows us to sell tickets at a big discount as well as they are two day tickets. It's great to feel you don't have to stay there all day but can go back and forth off the property for two full days and nights.

Our favorite thing to do on Sunday morning is to go to Sunnypoint cafe in West Asheville for Breakfast. It's just a really local thing to do. Very hippish type of place.

Another of our favorite things to do is to take our pups with us for free puppy cups at Tastee Freez just down the road from the farm. They have soft swirl ice cream made with the freshest and best of ingredients. I know the lady who owns it so I know what the ingredients are in the soft swirl and they are good!!
