About Ken Bailey

The owners, Ken and Vicki Bailey, live in Bainbridge,Georgia which is in the southwest corner of Georgia. We have four children and two grandchildren, so spare time or quiet time is just a dream. Art, real estate, high school sports, hunting, fishing, and family take up all of our time.

Ken Bailey purchased this house in 2005

Why Ken Bailey chose Saluda

We visited this area quite often because two very good friends from college live in nearby Columbus. It is such a different environment here from south Georgia that we realized this would be a great place to 'get away'. Small town life with big city conveniences. Our youngest son said it best 'The air is always better up here'

What makes this house unique

The view from the living room and the back deck is just breathtaking. There is no doubt, once you see that view, that we have a great and wonderful God. I always feel closer to God when I am sitting in the rockers on the back deck surrounded by the beauty He has created.

Amazing Ladies Escape Weekend

  • 5 of 5

This home was more than expected. The view was amazing. The decorating was so colorful and beautiful. Love the special little touches throughout the house. Although we did spend some time sitting in the Adirondack chairs looking out over the mountain view, we could have done that for hours. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals. Each space in the house was wonderful. This house would be great for a couple families to share with the upstairs and downstairs living space. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home.

Great Winter Getaway

  • 4 of 5

My family of 12 had a great stay at this property. The 3 levels gave us plenty of room to spread out but still cozy enough to socialize with one another. Home was well stocked for a rental property and the owner was a phone call away for any questions. The views from the decks were amazing. Would be a 5 star if the internet service was stronger. Would rent again!

Great place for family vacation.....

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in Saluda at this property; it accommodated our whole family well, children included. View was fantastic but just couldn't stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities of home and the town.
