Dan owns rental stores and Cathy is a nurse in a cancer center. We have one dog, six horses and twenty head of cattle. Our travels have included great rentals thru the VRBO website.

Cathy and Jennifer purchased this barn in 1999

Cathy and Dan built the house and barn while raising their four children, fourteen years ago. Now that the kids are gone; we're finding that we have lots of space to share. The apartment was built for our son and his wife six years ago. They moved into their own home, so we decided to give vacation rentals a try.

Guests can enjoy rest and relaxation away from the city. It's an opportunity to experience a real farm while sightseeing and enjoying our lovely valley. The apartment size is approximately 1200 sq feet. Very peaceful, quiet, lovely sunsets can be viewed from the hot tub. We farm hay, so 3-4 times each summer guests can view the harvest and smell fresh mowed hay.

We traveled to Walla Walla from Seattle for a February getaway with our two young children and another couple and had a lovely time, again. We would prefer to come in May or June but it was nice to experience the town and country during the down season. The family that rents out the barn hint is very sweet and the place is really comfortable to stay in.

The property was awesome for 2 couples. There was one bad thing though. The weather was so unusually cold. Below zero. That the upstairs shower kept freezing. Not a problem tho. We kept the pellet stove going which made it totally great. Plus the hot tub was very nice with those temps. We would certainly stay here again oh and then left a package in the closet and the owner got
It right in the mail. Awesome!!!

This property was so fun! Cathy greeted us and made sure we were well taken care of. The so called "Barn" was so well done! Beautiful wood beams, modern amenities, warm, cozy, great place to relax. We loved the fire pit under the stars while sipping red wine. Great proximity to Walla Walla wine tasting. We loved all the horses and livestock. Frenchy, the palomino foal was soooo sweet! The entire property was extremely well maintained, extremely clean and thoughtfully furnished..... We would love to go back! Highly recommend this experience to all!

This charming place was as described and photographed. It was well-maintained and clean. The owners lived nearby, but other than showing me how to run the fireplace and where things were, we had complete privacy. Though just a few minutes from town, there was blissful peace and quiet. I have already recommended this property to friends, and plan to visit it again next year.

Wine Weekend in Walla Walla

We came to Walla Walla for a long weekend of wine tasting and relaxation. Mission accomplished! This property is located in a rural area in the middle of wine country and tasting rooms. We were only 10 minutes or so from downtown WW and had quick access via the highway to other areas of the valley. The accommodations at WW Farm Get Away were fantastic! Having a kitchen made meal planning and prep easy, and the living room area was very cozy with a fireplace. Our beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved being surrounded by all of the farm animals. A great value and experience ... we will be back soon!
