Enjoy a remote but accessible furnished home on Lake Superior, 15 minutes from Marquette, Michigan. Enjoy the 4 acres of surrounding woods and the private beach. During the day, you can hike the surrounding wilderness trails and by night go to a restaurant in Marquette.
About Susan Cox, John Cox

We are a semi-retired couple who use this house several weeks out of the year. We wish to rent it out on a weekly basis. In 5 - 10 years we will retire up here.

Why Susan Cox, John Cox chose Marquette

We have vacationed in this remote area of the United States for several years and we love this property and its remoteness, yet it's just a short 15 minutes to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing in beautiful downtown Marquette.

What makes this house unique

This home is located in the wilderness, yet is only 15 minutes from Marquette, Michigan. It has great hiking trails in the nearby wilderness. Echo lake is 3 minutes away with excellent bass fishing and I like to fish for brook trout on the Yellow Dog River just 30 minutes away. In the Summer, weekly events are scheduled in Marquette Harbor. The fall colors are great and can be seen quite well on Sugar Loaf Mountain, which is an easy hike and 5 minutes away.

$200 deposit to hold booking. $200 returned if booking cancelled before 30 days from rental. $200 returned after rental after cleaning lady has cleaned the rental. A Key to the house will be mailed to renter upon receiving the rental fee in total. A garage door opener will be left in the house on the kitchen table before and at the conclusion of the rental.
