Schuss Mountain, which is located right down the street has given Shanty Creek its reputation as the 'Best Downhill Terrain in the Midwest.'

As you walk in the front door, you will notice the gorgeous view of the heart shaped green with the beautiful pond. The great room with its 2-story stone fireplace is where you can relax & enjoy conversation with others, or watch a movie on the new 50' high-def TV.
The spacious kitchen makes fixing a family meal a breeze, and the dining room is perfect for meals, or playing cards or games with friends. The lower level Game Room has ping-pong, pool table, Foosball table, dart board and pinball machine! You'll find plenty of board games, puzzles and more here. An additional bathroom with shower serves this area as well as another sleeping area located on this level.
The outdoors awaits you, so be sure to take time to relax on one of the two decks overlooking the golf course. Enjoy the beauty of gorgeous northern Michigan summer days. The club house heated pool at Hawks Eye is just a short walk up the street and is available to all guests as well as the workout room.
In winter, the sledding hill is right outside the back door. The tubing hill is a short drive away over to Cedar River as well as the incredible skiing at both Schuss Mountain and Shanty Creek Resort. Definitely a Winter-Summer Wonderland!
