We chose Sonoma as our getaway from the city for a variety of reasons. It is less than one hour from San Francisco. The climate is perfect for relaxing with warm days and comfortable and cool evenings. We are even able to enjoy outdoor living on many warm winter days.
Sonoma is wonderful for walking, jogging, biking and there are many close by hiking trails affording beautiful views of the valley.
We are close to the Sonoma coast and its bountiful seafood. We are close to the best wineries in the world and a seemingly endless variety of fine restaurants from very casual to world class kitchens. Most of our local dining spots feature outdoor spaces.
From golf to bird watching to Tuesday night farmers market complete with live entertainment there is no shortage of things to do and see in the Sonoma area.
Our regular guests say a week is never
enough time, and often return with a full list of things they have planned.
Tina and Bob,
I wanted to thank you for renting your vacation home. We loved staying at the place. It was a great base, and well stocked! One of the nicest, coziest places we have ever rented. I will keep your information handy so if we decide to visit Sonoma again we will see if the rental is still available.
We are close to world class golf courses, wineries, gourmet cheese producers. Sonoma is home to many of the best restaurants in northern California. We are walking distance to the Sonoma plaza with it's historic mission, shops, wine tasting and dining spots. We are 20 min by car to Napa Valley wineries and other attractions. Our home is very roomy and comfortable for our guests.
