Long Season Summer Rental in the Berkshires in Chatham, NY

Minimum two month rental. A pine tree and brook lined road leads to a long private drive that meanders past two spring fed ponds. The upper pond with a small sand beach. The 2009 main house and cabin are set on 45 acres and also surrounded by Land Conservancy owned properties, so hiking and mountain views abound. The property is set up for a couple or extended family. Main house has master suite on ground floor with an additional three bedrooms and loft upstairs. Cabin has a full bed with additional two beds up in the loft. For short term guests there's a sofa bed in the downstairs video room. Comfortable as a house for a couple with occasional guests or a full brood.

Chatham is a charming small village with a local food co-op, an independent movie theater, bakeries, restaurants, an independent bookstore, a natural foods store and a farmer's market in season.Approx. 25 minutes to Tanglewood, Berkshire Theater Festival, Great Barrington and Hudson. Hudson-Chatham Winery and Columbia County Fair are 10 minutes away. 45 minutes to Williamstown, Mass Moca, Clark Museum and Jacob's Pillow. Swimming at John's Pond is a short walk away.
