Chalet Nidolino is in a quiet sunny spot in Klosters surrounded by nature - including deer running in the garden. It is walking distance to two ski locations and all amenities in the town, with a bus stop at the end of the access road if preferred. The chalet is modern and rustic in design, and sleeps 6 people comfortably.
We offer a concierge service if needed (airport pick-up/drop-off, stocked fridge, ski passes, restaurant bookings, dinner the first evening).
Services we can offer:
- a chef for 50 chfs per hour and service for 30 chfs per hour
- cooked meals and drop-off
- Bed & breakfast service (cooked breakfast, bed making and cleaning daily)
We are an English couple married with a young baby, who live and work in Zurich. We bought our beautiful holiday chalet last year and have made some wonderful memories with friends and families. We named it Nidolino as an Italian play on the words 'little nest'. It is our little paradise away from the chaos which we love to escape to as much as we can all year round.
Amanda Kayne purchased this chalet in 2012
Chalet Nidolino is not your typical holiday let. It has fine and luxurious contents making it feel like a home away from home.
A concierge service is available for a small extra (airport pick-up/drop-off, stocked fridge, ski passes, restaurant bookings, dinner the first evening).
The view is breathtaking and the house is set apart from the others making it a thoroughly peaceful and relaxing environment. Your main neighbours are the deer that come down from the nearby forest at dawn and dusk. Some of our favourite things to do are lighting the fire and enjoying a glass of wine or a gluhwein on the balcony after a hard day skiing.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home! We had an excellent stay, super comfortable bed, didn't want to leave!
The Location of the Chalet is phantastic with the most stunning view over the valley.
The furnishings and the design of the chalet were exquisite. We (2 adults + 2 children) had loads of space.
Thank you very much!
We had a great family holiday in Nicolino. Perfect location everything worked and we hope to return.
We spent a lovely weekend at Chalet Nidolino in Klosters. The chalet is beautifully furnished and is the ideal place to relax. The owners are very kind and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back again.
Where to stay - not even pondered. Like last year, have chosen chalet Amanda. And we found it much changed. Like Amanda herself...... Congratulations on your new son! Floor with bedrooms now in simply very very nice and modern. But in general - all the same house - a cozy, warm and very welcoming. Thanks again for the atmosphere and the opportunity to work at a forum in such circumstances!
Magical week. We arrived in Klosters to work and every evening back in the chalet house as a home. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful taste and a piece of themselves - it's all over in the photographs, details of the interior, which they certainly were selected for themselves.
Very comfortable, quiet and beautiful. As in a fairy tale.
This is a very comfortable and well appointed Chalet (to include speedy broadband which is very helpful). Our hosts were extremely accommodating and even picked us up from the station!
I would certainly recommend it to other travellers.

Klosters is famed for its royal visitors, but renowned as a skier/snowboarder/walker paradise. With many restaurants (including Michelin star), bars, shops, endless pistes, sun, ice skating, swimming, horse riding, biking and golfing, there is no end of things to do for everyone in summer or winter. Chalet Nidolino is situated in the sunny and quiet part of Klosters with stunning views down the valley and within walking distance to all of the above. Klosters is well connected by bus, with easy reach to Davos by train/car/bus and St. Moritz/Engadine by car train.
Klosters has no less than four toboggan tracks: Two at Mount Madrisa-Saas (8.6 kilometres / 5.34 miles, 840 metres / 2,800 feet difference in altitude) and Mount Gotschnaboden-Klosters (3.5 kilometres / 2.17 miles, 590 metres / 1,900 feet), which can be reached quite easily by mountain cableway, as well as Alpenrösli and Aeuja.
Golfers can use a nine-hole golf course in Klosters, nestled among a beautiful landscape with a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding mountain peaks.
Davos has an 18-hole golf course for an exuberating game of golf which varies in its handicaps as the climatic conditions change. Easy holes are followed by “tricky ones”. The course, designed by Don Harradine, is constantly being upgraded to include the latest golfing innovations.
