PAYMENT TERMS:

• 50% deposit required to confirm booking

• 100% required 30 days prior to arrival.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT:

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF.

The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit. The difference will be returned to you on the day of departure.

We were two dudes who wanted to escape the european winter for a week. Our idea off a relaxed and great vacation was not a hotel bunker with hundreds of other tourist, mass processing buffets at fix meal times. Here, we went out to restaurant when we were hungry, to bars when we wanted have some drinks, or cooked our self caught fish in the kitchen. Each off us had his own bedroom and his own bath. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed including a fridge with a lot of room. The dining/living room had also a good size and very comfortable furnitures. The flat has his own wifi rooter. It was very stable and even quick enough to stream European football in HD. The flat would also fit 6 persons without troubles. The pools were hardly in use by other people of the complex, we went in every day and we had them always for our own. The only minus point at the complex/area was the water quality. We didn't expect drinking quality, but the was a bit smelly. We didn´t even use it for cooking or brushing our teeth. For us it looked like, that it was more like general problem of the area at this time. The location itself is not bad at all, no street noise, 3 minutes walk to the first restaurants, 5 min to next atm, 5-10 mins walking distance to the beach, 10 to the next super markets with a few bars and restaurant around. The area is fair enough safe and you can also walk outside at night without problems. The management was professional, friendly and helpful if required. All in all, we had very good time there. If we or one of us would go back, this flat would be one of our first choices again.

The condo is on the 3rd floor with a private rooftop terrace. Easy access to pool and walking distance to nearby beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and medical offices. Los Corales Beach and El Cortecito Beach free access. Both beach areas are within 300 meters or a short walk of about 5-6 minutes. The condo has high ceilings, high efficiency AC units, perfect amount of natural light, excellent cross ventilation and great sunset views from the balcony. Please ask about our excursions and transportation to/from airport.
