Simply wonderful at Heaven on Earth

My extended family (5 adults and 3 college-age) stayed at this brand new beautiful house for 10 days. We rented 4 of the 5 bedrooms and it was spacious and comfortable for all of us. The owners were responsive to our emails and the on-site manager Isan, met us at the airport and we followed him to the house. Isan took great care showing us the amenities of the house and gave us his cell number if we needed him. We never needed to call. Everything was in perfect working order. We did not go over the electricity allowance even though we ran the bedroom a/c units every night and the living room unit for a few hours each evening. Ceiling fans were used most of the day. During the day, we opened the doors and windows and the winds kept things pretty cool. The kitchen was well outfitted. We cooked most of our meals on the grill. We loved dining together on the large table on the terrace. The pool is fabulous and we loved the view of the Salina. Make sure you remember to turn on the colored pool lights at night! You can see sailboat masts and wind surfers from the pool! The house provides plenty of beach/bath/pool towels. The house is located in the northern section of the island and in a fairly new neighborhood. All roads were paved until you get to this particular short street. The house is very close to Arashi beach and a snorkeling beach that the charter boats go to. Its about 2-3 driving miles to Palm Beach. We can't wait to return and would not hesitate to rent this place again.
Moomba Beach bar provides free beach lounge chairs. There is some shade but you can also rent an umbrella for $30. We spent a couple days there and enjoyed lunch and drinks. Check out "Franks Place Watersports" hut on the beach. My daughters enjoyed parasailing and a banana boat ride. Check out the boat "Royal Blue" for charter fishing. We caught a bunch of tuna and wahoo. We rented 2 cars from Amigo Car Rental. Good price but the cars are worn out. We didn't care that we got them dirty and sandy.
