Roxanne or Lee Dunn
Lee purchased White Deer Ranch in 1989. Lee and Roxanne began managing the Ranch together in 1996. They are exploring aspects of organic and self sustained farming and ranching techniques and certification. They are also cultivating the ecotourism and farm stay experiences that the Ranch has to offer. The Ranch became organically certified for hay in 2011. Future plans include adding organically certified livestock, a micro hydroelectric system, and a green house for organic foods.
This house was restored for vacation rentals because of its historical significance to the Ranch.
Visitors can learn about the ranching operations, historical information about the homesteaders that came to this land and what it is like to live as a Montanan.
