About The Owner
.My husband and I are full time residents of Cape Coral. We moved from Idaho in 2005 after spending the previous winter here looking into new construction. We didn't want a 'fixer-upper'! Aubrey is US Army retired, Lt.Col. after twenty years service, stateside and abroad. We are both born in St. Petersburg, FL (that makes us Fla. Crackers), so it was natural that we'd locate in FL in our golden years. We operated a bed and breakfast on the Salmon River in ID for 20 years, so we know what vacationers want...call us today!
We are available 24/7 to handle any service problem that should arise. We will do monthly servicing and repairs.

Why The Owner chose Cape Coral
We looked at many communities in both Cape Coral and Fort Myers before settling on Island Cove. Much of what people look for today is nearness to shopping, medical and entertainment. We are minutes from a 24-hour Wal Mart; Publix;auto repair and Veterinary hospital. All this with out going on Del Prado! The quietness our community offers is awesome. Canals are sailboat accessible which we found out that many canals in the area are not deep enough for sailboats. One rarely needs to leave Island Cove as the amenities are abundant.
What makes this condo unique
It's a 5-minute drive to shopping and public transportation is at Del Prado. The ponds attract ducks and water birds frequently. Bald eagles have a nest in the preserve and often can be seen perched on Island Cove roofs. If you enjoy the outdoors, there are numerous recreation areas to see. If you have a dog that likes morning and evening walks...don't forget to take a large mug of coffee for sipping as you take in the solitude and beauty.

March, 2013 was lovely at the condo. It was well stocked and beautifully furnished. Loved our view from the 4th floor seeing manatees, mullet jumping and even a tarpon. Also the grounds and pool area are kept up very nicely. So many beautiful places to see in and around Cape Coral.
The only negative was that the month flew by much too fast! But we loved it so much that we're coming back next March:)
